you sold me. would absolutely love for Mimms to be our pick. could you imagine Mimms at RT, Jones at LT, Daniels, Seamalu, and any of the top3 at C.? i think that be a excellent line. one of the best in the league... just as Khan and Weidl are known for., building the trenches. i sooo very much so look forward to this draft as well as the coming season. i still believe we trade back 5 or so spots to pick up an extra 2nd day pick. id hope Mimms would still be there. altho if he is there at 20 it may be hard for us to do a trade back and pass. we shall see. i truly believe we are back! letss goooo! 🖤💛🖤

I'd take him at 20, Id rather the Steelers move up in the second to hopefully get Frazier or Barton if they are still there for the taking. We gave up pick 120 last year to move up 3 spots to get Broderick, I guess if we could get away with giving away pick 119 it wouldnt be that bad. We'd still have 84 and 98 in the 3rd round. But I dont know if Frazier or Barton would last till 51. I doubt it. I wouldn't hate it if they stay pat and just pick BPA at 20 though. Great video as always bro. Its like a breath of fresh air listening to you talk ball. Caught you on the afternoon drive too the other day!!! They need to make you a staple there!!

Definitely the best move if he's there. You can have interchangeable bookends for the foreseeable future.I would slide Mims to to left because of his measurables and his ability in pass protection. And if it doesn't work he can slide back over to his natural position and move Broderick to his. It's a win win, as long as he stays healthy.

It's definitely the highest "chance" based on need, interest, and chance to drop. I'd be cool with it, even with the concerns, a prospect of that caliber doesn't usually fall out of the top 10.

I agree basically with your analysis of Mims. I'm sure you're planning on doing the kid from Duke, probably one or both of the PNW guys. I'd like to hear you compare/contrast those guys, because while Mims is a Greek god, Barton to me is also very clean and has the make up of a 10 year OL.

@@Steelers_DB can you explain if there is a dramatic difference between the top three centers and the next two or three like draft rankings say. Because a lot of Steeler fans stuck on the center in their minds

If we get Mims in the first (I'm cool with the injury risk) and Frazier in the second, then whatever happens in the rest of the draft is gravy.

Another reason to go tackle in the 1st is we need to hold up longer at tackle with Russ or Justin back there. Dan just isnt that guy.... FYI.....All of Colbert's O-line and QB picks will be gone after this season.

Russ needs a long time to work and historically sets a deep pocket.

The dream scenario is getting JPJ in the first and Mims in the second. I know that won’t happen but a guy can dream.

@R34LI7Y 0% chance JPJ will be drafted at 20. He’s not even a first round talent. Mims is a far more elite prospect than JPJ can ever be. Only Center worth drafting at 20 is Barton. That’s it.

DB... my vote for the next scouting report is definitely Taliese Fuaga. Runner up is Andru Phillips.

Ladd McConkey has been injured almost the whole season but nobody seems to bring that up, that's why when the media creates a narrative everybody goes along with the narrative, McConkeys not a first-round receiver but with the narrative that he's not injury-prone is looking like he could be one.Go Dawgs!

Why do we think the middle of the line is not the extreme priority? Two book ends but teams are pressuring us right up the middle making our tackles look bad not to mention we want to play bully ball…can’t do it without a center that will move the line of scrimmage.

Sold on Mims if we stick with 1/20. Put him at RT and roll. Bookend with Jones - Fuhgettaboudit

Where we are right now is weird because our most obvious holes are Center, WR2, and CB. Tackle can definitely be upgraded but maybe not necessarily a NEED. I’m on board to go Tackle if that’s the best value. If we go tackle in the first I like Mims or Fuaga. But I’d prefer we go WR or CB. Especially if Terrion Arnold or AD Mitchell are there at 20

The tightrope surgery scares me but Im in on Mims or Fuaga in the first and shuffle the line. Daniels at Center. Broderick at Right. Mims or Fuaga at right. Maybe Limmers later. JPJ just doesnt WOW me. I dont see the 1st round grade there and really not on Frazier.

i've done dozens of mocks and looked at 100 mocks by the experts... going OT in round 1 yields the second best draft results short of trading down a little in the first to get more top 100 picks. If Colbert was running the show, i;d say Mims is best case scenario. That said, the Kahn artist might roll with Moore at OT and trade up for Odunze if he slips to 14 or so.

Wasn’t he only injured in one of his college seasons though?

My only concern is, will he be another Zach Banner? Banner seemed to be a great locker room guy but couldn't stay on the field to save his life. My other question or concern is Dewand Jones from OSU was very much like Mims last year and was a projected 1st rounder on many boards, and he fell to the 4th very much like Zach Banner did. So my question i guess is are we being blinded by the BIG MAN and 20 may be a reach or are you willing to bet the farm on a prospect who has played 8 games? Im good with it if Pat Meyer and Aurther Smith want Mims, but the questions have to be asked.

I highly, highly doubt he slips completely out of R1 but anything can happen.

Ok, I'm going to make a prediction that might not happen 😂😂. But Khan is gonna get Mims in the first, Then he's gonna trade our second round, first third round pick and a 6th rounder to the Patriots for their second round pick and grab JPJ who fell to the second, just like most are now predicting him to fall. And then reality smacked me right in the face 🤔🤔,. KHAN ALWAYS GETS A JPJ IN THE SECOND ROUND, THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A FIRST ROUNDER 😂😂😂😂😂

Totally not popular but I can’t understand some of the visits. Travis Glover, bad player I thought when I looked him up. Only watched Arkansas State & Southern Georgia but looked bad bad. Even if he is would be a guard, there are so many ahead.

Mims looks good, but too little experience, too many injuries therefore too high a risk. He could be this year's Mekhi Becton. There are too many others to choose from to take a risk on Mims.

I Love "FRANKENMIMS" BUT IF JC LATHAM IS THERE AT 15 OR 16 , WOULD YOU TRADE UP AND GO GET HIM INSTEAD? BECAUSE OF THE INJURY HISTORY OF COURSE. OR IS MIMS CEILING THAT MUCH HIGHER THAN LATHAM'S, AND YOU PICK MIMS OVER HIM ANYWAY???
