The Green Bay Packers have pointed embattled Penn State cornerback Kalen King toward the road to redemption, plucking the former All-Big Ten defender in the 6th Round of the 2024 NFL Draft. After entering the 2023 campaign as PFF's highest-graded cover corner in college football, King regressed substantially in almost every statistical metric.

he might of been way over-rated as a first rounder. but 7th rounder is a steal. I think 4th round would of been fair value.

He wasn't overrated in 2022. In 2023, King was awful. Did he rest on his accomplishments of 22 and not put in the work last year? No one knows, however, the Packers, may have just drafted one of the best CB's in College Football in round 7.
King went while his grade was low. He should not have gone until he had a good season. How did PSU disguise this secondary that no NFL team wants?

the brilliance of manny diaz. plus having 3-4 nfl defensive ends applying pressure covers up a lot of warts in the secondary.

@@gen.barnakey__ true. we're setting King's over/under career All-Pro selections at 17.5. The guy is not only gonna change the way we think about football but also feed the hungry, cure the sick, and be the one true righteous judge of both the living and the dead.
