It’s always nice to go out and scout and area out to make a plan. It was nice of those kids to come warn you about the snake. I think you should have screamed just to see if they would have came to your rescue lol. Great video bro.

that's a real treasure to have so close to home TC, snakes or no snakes!! looked like you needed a ND filter in that bright sunshine? otherwise it's best to put the camera in pro mode, fix the white balance and leave the rest on auto. that way you should retain a constant exposure with no shifts in WB and minimise over-exposed hot spots 🙂 me, I prefer to use a variable ND but rarely shoot in bright sunshine here!!

Great advice Nick! Thanks so much. I might check into an ND filter for my Ace Pro. I should’ve checked my exposure settings beforehand but being the numpty I am, I neglected to do so. 😫

Very enjoyable video TC, Pennsylvania has great locations/scenery for nature photography, when I lived in Jersey I used to visit friends in East Stroudsburg, which is probably a three or four hour drive from Mercer county. BTW, I know that you know that you need a more comfortable strap for that camera/lens combo. Be well and stay safe.

Hi Enrique! Yes, PA has some beautiful locations for photography, and I need to get out and shoot some more often! I think I’ve gotten a little lazy this first full year of retirement! I’ve heard of E. Stroudsburg but never been there. And I got my new strap! You may have missed the short video-in-video snippet I added showing me with it on.
