I am not Scottish, but this music of yours gives me goose bumps and brings tears toe my eyes EVERY time I listen to it…it is wonderful!!!

My surname is Laird, I am finding out ( or trying to) about my family... I know that my surname is or was a nobility title, which makes me very proud... I know that I possibly come from the highlands and that I have Viking blood... I know that my people suffered hard and were brave... I am a Laird. I am proud . My father, may he rest in peace, was one of the best men I have ever known... strong, brave and a great father. We may have come from the USA but in our hearts we are Scottish. I love my ethnicity. My culture. My roots. I love Scotland.

I discovered through trial and error that listening to such music helps relieves and stops the onset of my migraines. The odd thing is the way air is passed through the bagpipes is similar too the structure of the brain and the lack of oxygen that is received during a migraine. It's a good thing, I am of scotch-irish decent,

I want to live in Scotland. So different from where i am but yet similar enough that it is comforting. I will relocate when I can, but for the meantime... 'Scottish' music and pictures of the beautiful place itself. :)

Love to but won't be able to afford it. This was my trip of a lifetime! Stayed in Rosslyn Castle down the road from the Chapel. Wow. Loved the countryside and trip to Glencoe too. Maybe someday . . .
