I thought I had "healed" from my relationship with my ex over 8 months ago and went on to date someone new, focus on my career goals, and hang out with friends and become my bubbly extroverted self again. Everyone saw me as someone who had "leveled up" when deep down I was holding on to letting go of that love that I had once been dependent on. Thank you for this, Scott. It’s been over 2 years and I still can’t wrap my head around how underrated and undiscovered this artist and song is!! What a masterpiece. The whole world deserved to hear this song ❤️ Keep going Scott your time will come!

There's no perfect time to let go, it's just a matter of when we're ready to let go of holding the memories we made with them. It break us a thousand time letting go of that beautiful memory with them. Its too hard to accept that the person made you happy become a memory and you have to let go of that memory and just move on, which we aren't ready and will never be ready for that.

breakups aftr a serious love is like you know living without her/him... but even when years l8r (its been more thn one for me) you get flashback you smile with the pain, and when with friends you just tell how big of a fool you were for loving /falling for some one like that , then you smile it off... but inside you know that you would love to scratch that almost healded wound and cry your hearts out till your eyes run dry.. but its life you neithr got the time to cry it out nor have the support for it ... so you get on living like you are , justday on and day out.. and yes your pet dog , neat whiskey and good books along with work life keeps you busy till one day you sit alone on a night and sigh with songs like this... dont worry we all are going through this... 🙂
