I met Scott Hall at Gordon Solie's funeral. He came up and introduced himself and started goofing around with my son who was 7 years old at the time. He picked him up over his head. My son was laughing hysterically and has never forgotten it. He seemed like a great guy.

Scott Hall always gave the most honest interviews. Whether he remembered correctly or not, he gave his honest truth. If you don’t think he’s been honest, realize he was never the guy, he never played politics to go over, he knew he was over and had no problem putting others over. Best mind in wrestling ever. Only thing he ever protected was his finish. Other than that he was always down to do business. Elevated so many people and was happy to.

If he was clean yes. But hollywood not only had his own creative control, but he controlled who he lost to. On that dark side of the ring with bash at the beach 2000. It showed hogan basically ran wcw. Bischoff was insane to give hogan so much control. I think they were lovers, like hbk and vince. Hall in 1996-97 could have had a run with title. After 1997 he was too messed up. Even nash didn’t get strap until late 98. Hogan from 1996-98 held belt 95 percent of the time. Sting couldn’t even a clean win after being out for 16 months, after greatest build up for ppv in history. Doesnt work for me brother.

There was no heat on Goldberg side. None. Kevin was doing the books at the time. He wanted Scott to come back but he had a few weeks left on a suspension. Nash thought it was money that Goldberg protest hall coming back (in character) . I don't remember how Scott's paper contract got included in the angle but nash and Goldberg were arguing about it. At some point Goldberg stopped screaming and arguing, then kev watched Goldberg grab the contract and fkin ATE IT!!! He didn't rip it up or start it on fire. He ATE It!!! It was kevs storyline anyways. I think Scott thinks they meant REAL heat between them.

He had a bad drinking problem at that time, and was also using pills. His “character voice” made it easier to hide his inebriation, but you could tell he was messed up a lot of the time, and his physical appearance started to slide, he sure didn’t seem to be lifting like he previously had, he lost a lot of muscle mass.
