Bale4Bond how disciplined would you be when it was CLEARLY your time, you’re willing to share it with your best friend who when with you changed wrestling forever and it doesn’t matter to your position in the company? He WAS the generational talent and they had THREE YEARS to pull the trigger and instead they cut him off at the knees because of Hogan. Watch the match where he first turns on Kevin Nash against Giant and Sting. I almost cried. They put on an AMAZING match, the crowd is CHANTING for them to stay together and turn on Hogan to be the new faces of the company together. When was the next time he was SEEN after that Pay Per View? Wolfpack needed to be Hall Nash Hart Macho (one elder statesman) and MAYBE Giant. That one match is actually the start of the fall from where they plateaued with the Starrcade Match. The best part? They’re actually a tweener group that can make new stars as heels and faces, and when did Scott Hall ever fail to get someone over when they were with him?

Kinda annoyed me the guy kept interrupting Hall or pulling the mic away mid-sentence. Hall had some clever lines but the guy half messed up the flow of them.

They’re professional wrestlers. He didn’t have a match himself that night; no one was in danger. After his world title match with Sting when they used Scott’s problem that should have been nipped in the bud months prior in order to sabotage both he AND Sting, he never wrestled when he shouldn’t have in wcw again, he was a functional alcoholic at this point because they were breaking his back for Hogan’s bank account. Everytime wcw listened to Hogan over their audience, all the boys were hurt for it.

I met Scott Hall and Kevin Nash at a signing just before Hall passed. Hall was so appreciative and genuinely nice that day. Nash wasn't rude but you could tell he was going through the motions. RIP Mr Hall. You were the coolest wrestler of your time in the buisness.

El Hajj Malik El WCW always had the best in ring work. The production sometimes wasn't great though. They pride themselves on in- ring work. They started letting the inmates run the asylum, if they just had one voice of reason they still be around. Their roster was overflowing with talent. Some of the guys they had ended being big stars in WWF/E.

People romanticize about all the good WCW things 20 years later. They weren't watching each young star who started to get over get squashed. They remember nWo at its peak but not when it was watered down and boring. They remember a few exciting crusierweight matches but forget that those guys were pigeonholed and treated like lesser workers at the time. They remember Goldberg but forget his lame heel run. They remember all the great Nitro moments but they forget how bad Thunder was and how Nitro much like Raw today suffered in a 3 hour format.

I Love How Scott Hall Took A Dig At Undertaker "Says The Guy Whose Gimmick Is Death Itself I Don't Know Which Is Ridiculous Undertaker Or The Gimmick"

Take a company who had a very obvious "Do whatever you want backstage" mentality and add a show where some goober rolls up on guys unannounced for interviews and you run the gamut from trying to get serious answers out of a drunk Scott Hall to swooping in on Curt Hennig days after Rick Rude's funeral and bombarding him with questions about his recently deceased best friend.

Yea, that run was ok at best, he came and changed the business for ever starting the NWO, leading to for the only time ever, making WWF(E) the #2 company. Him and Nash became so much bigger stars, that when they came back to WWF, it was under Scott Hall & Kevin Nash, not Diesel and Razor Ramon. I’d say that’s a waaay bigger and better career & legacy to leave behind, than “winning” a fake world title under a gimmick with a fake accent, I don’t know, I’m a wrestling fans, not team WWF, or team WCW, or AEW, TNA, or ECW. I love em all, but clearly Scott made the right move

Yeah, Scott was six foot seven and all of 270 lbs.. The only reason he didn't look big next to Kev is because Kev is damn near 7 foot. Scott was huge.
