To my ears, these are approaching the level where you can just grab one and be done with it. Why have more than one violin, if you can have one that does everything really well?

It is not a workshop violin. It is bench made by Liao Shi and Scltt Cao (both are VSA winners).

@@patriciajrs46 Yes. Its mean the violin is made by one luthier with his name printed or signed on the label. I think this term is used in USA only as I never seen it for the violin made in Europe and Cremona.

I’m afraid the luthier was Shi Liao, instead of Li Shiao.

Are these Chinese made? Why does no one feature American made violins? Aren't there any good quality American made violins. These do sound very nice and you play quite well. I enjoyed your choice of pieces.
