Scotia The Leopard Queen Faces Off With A Nile Crocodile! African Wildlife Encounter

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

Scotia female leopard at Scotia dam keeping a close eye on the resident crocodile.
Crocodiles have been known to catch leopard from time to time but the leopard here is well aware of the crocodile so there is no likelihood of her being in any real danger.

About Rob The Ranger Wildlife Videos:
The purpose of the channel is to show what it is like to experience seeing wild animals on an African safari. Nature Documentaries are often highly edited to tell a story, wildlife safaris are not, and the idea here is to show the wildlife sightings the way they were seen. Safari tours in Africa are generally suitable for all ages and this channel can be considered an educational channel about incredible nature, some scenes in the nature videos may be more graphic than people are used to but this is the reality of nature and is what you would see if you were present on such a safari in person. Safaris in Kenya, South Africa, or any other African country are an unrivalled experience for anyone with a passion for nature, wildlife photography, and travel. Hopefully the animal videos on this channel can provide a glimpse into what the nature experience is like and encourage more people to take a wildlife safari one day. Leopards are my favorite predator. Love all these videos. It's hard to fathom there really is a place where these animals roam free.

A leopard is just sheer beauty.... I like the way the bottom white colour changes as if fading into the golden colour on the back, while the black spots keep their own way throughout.... Just looking at it wagging its tail as if boasting to the crocodile...

I think if that was a tiger that croc would have to reconsider its thoughts. I have seen a tiger jump in pond of water just to take back its prey that was stolen by crocs. Tigers really are powerful .

The video you are referring to involves the mugger crocodile, much smaller, less aggressive and very timid compared to Nilecrocodiles. A tiger who is foolish enough to jump in a pond with a fully grown Nilecroc which is waiting for it, will end as crocpoop.

I'm sure the leopard could have continued his drink without fear of that crocodile - his cat reflexes would have been quite sufficient to escape if it made a sudden move from that distance. It's not the croc you can see that's the danger, it's the ones lurking below the surface - if there's one, there's more than one. (And they're probably all going, "Bruce, hey Bruce, duck them eyeballs under, ya daft lizard! Yer givin' us all away!")
