I have always loved this song and it affects me on a very personal level. The winds of change in the late 80s and 90s opened a whole new world for me and many more. My Russian wife was allowed to come to Korea to study in 1998. I was teaching English in Korea and one night I met her and fell in love and followed her back to Russia where I took a job teaching English. Without the winds of change we would most likely never have met and our two lovely daughters would never have been born.

We are all in this world together. Build one another up❤

The spirit of November 9th 1989 is still very much alive. You can see it in this crowd.

People forget what this Song means & what Changed in Eastern Europe History, & how Powerful the Lyrics are! God bless the Scorpions!!!

This song is so powerful and brings a tear to my eyes and I come from a free country untouched by war on our shores

My dad would sing this to me when I was a baby, as I got older I would rock back and forth (still do 30+ years later). 🥰😘

I will never forget it. The fall of the Berlin wall in 1989. It began the whole collapse of the Soviet occupation of Eastern European countries across the board - and the collapse of the entire Soviet Empire in 1991. The Scorpions recorded it all.

Sarkar is the pro founder of the Progressive Utilization Theory. This is a socio-spiritual, socio-cultural, economic and political ideology an alternative to capitalism and communism. Is this similar to Israel kibbutz? No. about 50 of kibbutz practice more on the economic aspect. This concept Progessive Utilization Theory, PUT unique concept is the adoption of good capitlism and communism practices (material sphere) plus the unique concept spiritual collective leadership by the auther. Which he call as sadvipra leadership. The community lead by this spiritual collective leaders call it sadvipra samaj... Sarkar wrote many books in many fields like medicine engineering, etc. He has followers worldwide. Most of his followers are people of above average IQs. He wrote 5,000 songs in Bengali, Hindi and english. American song writer and singer Hank Williams (dad of Hank Williams jr) wrote 167 songs. Died of heart attack in 1953 at 29y/o. I was not born yet. Informese mejor. Del 60 al 89 son casi 30 años. Mas de una generación, Los Sovieticos nunca ocuparon ningun pais. Fue una alianza para enfrentar el fascismo, que en su momento parecía que se comería al mundo. Por fin la Union Sovietica vence a la Alemania fascista quienes firman la paz en Moscu.

This song signifies everything I love about music.

It's one of the powerful musics of the century which has a history with West & East Germany. It's a song of HOPE. It's applicable to any time. But still in this modern era, there are lot of wars going in Africa, Middle East, Palestine & Israel, South & North Korea, India & Pakistan, recently turmoil between India & China. In this critical time of Covid-19, we have to work together to gift a beautiful, sustainabile world to our next generation. Thanks Scorpions for this heart 💖 touching song.

All true but sadly, politicians know they can gain power by playing to people's fear and hate. This hasn't changed since humans first bashed another human with a rock. People can go to a concert such as this and feel good about our fellow human beings and then the next be driven into a mob thirsting to kill. The underlying mechanism is the same.

this song takes me back to my childhood in early 90s as in India we had very limited exposure to international artists specially from rock and metal genre.. only channel we had was doordarshan..

Simply classic, todays music don't come even close to old school music

I am one of those "children of tomorrow" this song spoke of, and It saddens me that this song represents something that still plagues the world to this day. I hope that someday mankind can come to understand its meaning and love each other and to love something more than war and hate.

This Song Is Also Make Me Emotional & Kind Of Depressed While I Am Listening It At Peaceful Environment Like No People Or Animal Around Me And Then It Helps Me To Remember Lots Of Things From The Past Including "Battle Of Berlin" From The WW2 Scenario. 😔 (Totally A Unexplainable Vision)
