Homay’s powers continue to grow. Excellent demo and explanation of how the library’s trailer score came together and was finalized. After watching Paul’s walkthrough video, I bought this library and I’m loving it so far.

The pitch-bend created a slight unease and tension. Very atmospheric.

The composition and sound selection sucked me right into the trailer and unfolding story. Mission accomplished!

I do a lot of orchestral/cinematic music, and looking to get into film scoring movie trailers… are there any good videos out there on how you figure out the tempo of a movie trailer video? Like figuring out tempo changes and things in the video?

Yep. And it’s precisely because of the theory vs feeling notion Spitfire is touting here. It’s a false dichotomy. Anti-intellectualism never helped anything have deeper feeling.
