@@chair547A 2-point safety and a 1-point safety in the same game, especially if it ended 10-1 with two 2-point safeties, would be so perfect that they might as well just shut down football, like the whole sport should just retire and start working on its Hall of Fame speech.

I've heard scorigami in commentary more and more recently and I was really worried that Jon wasn't going to get credit for it. I'm very glad to be wrong!

@@aok2075 Well, to be fair, playing the averages, the Broncos in the Super Bowl means they're going to lose. They have by far the worst record in the Super Bowl among teams that have appeared more than 4 times (theyre 3-5). If you include 4 appearances, only the Rams (1-3), Bills, and Vikings (both 0-4) have a worse winning percentage in the Super Bowl than the Broncos' .375 percentage. Peyton Manning's 1-1 record in the Super Bowl as a Bronco actually RAISED the team's winning percentage, if you can believe it (from 0.333 to 0.375).

A few years ago I was looking over the list of all scores at Football Reference, and I wondered which was the most likely possible final score that had never actually happened. I decided on 42-16, followed by 45-30. The former fell in 2020 (Buf at Ten), the latter this year -- twice! (NYJ at Ind, Chi at GB)

I had been hoping for 26-25 for years. It was the only non-tie where both teams scored in the 20s that hadn't happened yet. Miami and Las Vegas managed it last year and I practically jumped for joy!

Jon Bois made it! Everyone is talking about scorigamis nowadays and he came up with the term. Besides, he does a hell of a job with those videos.

The idea of Jon Bois being immortalized in the form of Scoragami makes me teary eyed :’)

I especially love that the game that popularized Scorigami was won in dominant fashion by its inventor's favorite team against a hated rival.

You just know Jon showed up to set and they were like, "Hey, Jon, we got all these stats for you to dish out while you're speaking" and Jon just laughed to reply, "Nah, I got my own stats" to subsequently blow the entire NFL Films staff away. "We had no idea about that scorigami" "oh wow we hadn't considered that" and of course, "how could we forget about that one!"

This kinda stuff gives me chills man. It's so amazing to see something so niche and cool become integrated into a larger audience, and y'all at NFL Films did an outstanding job telling the story. Long live scorigami ✊

10-1 is actually the holy grail, cause you need the 6-1 scenario to happen + 2 extra safeties, since there's no other way to get to 10 from 6 points

I remember when scorigami was sort of an underground thing that only football nerds cared about and now its slowly becoming a regular part of the NFL that everyone knows

Who ever scores that one point in 6-1 game, should get a Scorigami trophy too
