Even though Caffeine is a extremely common Addiction I experienced it for about 5 years mainly in soft drinks but earlier last year I managed to drop caffeine all together I still crave carbonated drinks but since the caffeine was dropped I haven’t been having as many headaches and sleeping issues

My dad smokes to relieve anxiety (GAD runs in our family), and you know whats funny about the whole "oh smoking relieves stress" thing smokers talk about? Nicotine actually makes you more anxious- the thing thats calming them down isn't the smoking itself, its the action it requires...breathing. So it creates this cycle of relying on cigarettes to relieve the stress that the nicotine is making worse. Thats just an aside though, overall I really wanna believe this kid has good intentions but...its definitely clout chasing first and foremost.

i may be wrong but it might be the nic buzz you get that most are referring to, because your brain is deprived of oxygen it makes u a little dizzy (a doozy if u will!!!) which, at least (shamefully) in my experience, can be calming to some. more so its a in the moment thing and doesnt really last 😔

Addiction has been something that my family has always struggling with. When my brother was little he asked my mum if he were to get all A's on his report card she would stop smoking cigarettes. She agreed, I guess she thought it would be impossible for him. Because a few months later, he brought a report card with all A+'s. My mum took the report card and immediately threw it way. I think that was the he lost all hope for her to change.

As someone who has been clean from meth since early this year, I can firmly say I don't recommend it to anyone. Except Scoozy, I think he should give it a go. He's clearly the hero society needs to bring to light just how bad substance addiction is by "forcing" himself into a position that the people already in that position and the rest of the world are definitely unaware of.

As someone who never smoked and never plans to I grew up around smoking parents and other smoking family members. I have asthma and have probably gotten a lot of lung damage from second hand smoke.

My mom smoked when she was pregnant funny I never had SIDS but as a kid I had bronchitis infection at 12 so I never smoked until last year but I couldn't get addicted to cigarettes but vaping I chose to vape to quit crystal addiction. Recently ran out of vape juice but I can see I got stressed with less.

i used to smoke about a year ago, for maybe three months. but even though i only smoked for such a short time it still has effects on me, whenever im stressed or anxious i get the urge to smoke and when im out with people who do smoke i constantly have to bite my tongue not to ask for a cigarette. That’s the cruel thing about nicotine, even if you just smoke for a week it’ll burn itself into your brain and even after years of not smoking it’ll still make you think “i could really use a cig right now.” it doesn’t just increase the chance of you getting cancer, it is like a cancer all on its own.

So My neighbor has a son thats 10, and he is terribly corrupted by shorts and tiktok and shit, he came up to my sisters 18 year old and said "that moment when your dealer gives you the wrong shit" and was implying it was a good thing... We had to have a serious talk with him after that, like all the adults, his parents, his older brothers, everyone lit into him with that one, He lost access to youtube completely and was grounded from the internet for like 3 months, Really gives me alot of pause for thought about my own toddlers near future. it worries me, youtube is really weird when it comes to their moral compass, like, can't say bad words or show someone getting punched in an ADULT ORIENTED VIDEO but kids can totally get groomed into smoking and doing drugs or drinking...

A girl I used to babysit got addicted to meth as an adult. She lost her husband, her children and even her dad and grandparents wouldn’t let her into their homes because she’d steal anything she could. She went to 2 short term treatment centers that didn’t work. She finally got clean after going to a long term catholic treatment center in a different town . She’s been clean for 5 years, is living with her grandmother and her children are back in her life. Addiction to harmful substances is of the devil.

You know that feeling when you find that new channel that you can sit down, eat popcorn too and binge. I think i just found that channel. Just perfect, shows how much effort you put in. Such an underrated channel.

I started smoking cigarrettes at 19 at in an extremely misguided attempt to seem more desirable to a woman about 9 years my senior whom i was friends with through my ex A few years later, i was able to cold turkey it. Its been a year since i lit one up. Don't do it Smoking for just almost 3 years made me feel like shit. Short of breath, withdrawl hit me like a truck, it stunk up all my clothes, my car, it affected my libido Not worth the headrush. Do not do it

I can't believe we've come here as a society, it's depressing. I remember when I was young everyone was trying to quit smoking, and now it's "cool" again, when we know the health effects....

this vid popped up on my recommended and as a person who is a sort of gay and unaddicted smoker* this was so ridiculous * i just sometimes smoke, bc i like a certain brand and living sucks in some countries. you wont get addicted if you just do it sometimes, not for the whole week straight. yes, ciggarets arent good! smoking as a whole sucks, its not pleasant at all, especially if the cigarette is cheap. but it does relieve some stress. which you can do with better coping mechanisms lmao, just idk take up drawing/painting or music or something else that wont make you waste a ton of money on some gross garbage

The worst thing about cigarettes (or drugs in general) is, that they're so good at relieving stress. I know many people who smoke and everyone tells me not to start smoking. But the two times I've smoked in my life were enough to make me aware about the fact that smoking is quite calming when you're stressed and given that I'm currently in a situation were I'm constantly stressed it's really hard not to just make myself a cigarette and smoke. It's really scary when you think about it, especially bc so many people do it, you can't go anywhere without seeing even 1 person smoke and when you try to get clean you get the constant urge to do it because almost everyone does it

Honestly, this is 100% how tons of people believe drug addiction starts even if it's nowhere close.

here's actually a really interesting video that popped up in my recommended called something like "trying my first ever cigarette" where a 30 odd due who has never smoked, smokes a cig in his car. immediately wants to quit, and doesn't finish even a tenth of the cig puts it out and throws it outside. see that's how a non addicted person would react to such a thing, not go through with it.

Growing up I was exposed to what long term drinking and smoking can really do to a person, my mum and a family friend have both been smoking and drinking for at least a minimum of 30 years, it's horrifying. Both are visibly unwell due to it, my mum for example; she's always coughing, her nail health is horrible, her teeth have been affected as well and has actually lost a tooth, ect. It doesn't help that she's also gone to vaping due to its recent popularity in recent years :( The tobacco industry honestly sickens me, all it does is ruin peoples health and turns them into addicts who constantly depend on something that'll kill them one day. Smoking and drugs aren't cool, they can so easily ruin someone's life. Ofc I'm not the person to judge those who do want to experiment, my only bit of advice would to be careful and try make sure you don't get hooked or dependent on them, it's not every users fault when we've been making these things seem "cool" or some kind of aesthetic, in my eyes most of those users/addicts are victims to the normalization of these things. Smoking kills and we should never forget that.

Plus cigarettes are pretty much the least useful thing you could go with lol. You get almost nothing out of it. At least with other things there's a bit more impact and a sometimes slightly less danger, but smoking anything is incredibly harmful to your health + a gigantic money pit

I smoke weed and I'm constantly paranoid about one day discovering I've got late-stage cancer or something. It still isn't enough to make me stop, bc I've become emotionally dependent on it. I want to stop or at least take a step down from multi-times-a-day use, but fuck it's hard. Seeing someone cosplay an addiction makes me so angry. Where the fuck is KZread's "tHiNk oF tHe cHiLDrEn" mindset when shit like this is being posted by actual kids?

I saw these a while ago, and I honestly don't remember them being like this. It's really horrible how he made these things seem like just another youtube challenge.

30 years smoker here. I just heard someone legit try to argue that McDonald's is better for you than oatmeal or even an apple. I had literally thought that was the stupidest thing I ever head. The same morning I hear this to start the competition at the next level already. I didn't even finish saying goodbye to the last one yet... Lol

i love smoking cigarettes but they're super expensive in australia and decided to quit smoking so i can save money

as someone who smokes and has been a passive smoker for all her life, the fact dat he thinks it's cool to hold a cig is fucking insane. if u are in a group, u can easily tell who smokes to say they smoke and aren't addicted. and it's just so cringe AND disgusting. because they don't feel the need to smoke and get upset when they ain't got cigarettes. they don't feel the need to put youself through asking someone smoking a cigarette if they got one left, because you need to smoke. it's humiliating, not cool. especially when kids see you, so i find it disgusting too that he aims his video at children

I've never smoked nic but was a pot smoker, and i just recently quit a month ago the way people are treating addiction is fuckin disappointing shits horrible i was dissasociating 24/7 (i was smoking sativa) but yeah no im disappointed
