Earthquakes occur every day throughout Indonesia but we don't need to be afraid because that's a normal thing to happen, unless the government broadcasts it on TV it's a big earthquake and you have to be aware of it, you can see it on the government's BMKG website/application 🙌🏻

Your volcano experiences reminded of the time we visited Legaspi in The Philippines about a year after the volcano had erupted and buried the city. The lava was two storeys deep. The Catholic Cathedral was buried. Many houses destroyed. Scary!

I agree with your opinion about that occurence of subsidence after huge volcanic eruption maybe in hundred or thousand years ago, and the mountain that appears now is just young mountain that formed from the remaining magma in magma chamber.

A Balinese person told us to take Probiotics before travel especially Bali and it worked for us. We ate like locals but avoided tap water for drinking. The only time we buy bottled water.

Don't show us those trash in Bali, that's embarrassing 🤭 have a joy ride in Bali 😍

I think the northern part of the island of Bali is quite safe, on the other hand, on the south side of the island because there are faults that are always moving, as well as on the island of Java, the northern coastal area is quite safe from large earthquakes but is rather vulnerable on the south side of the island of Java.

Few months ago, I was diagnosed with vertigo which the symptoms is like an earthquake. So I often panicking, thinking my vertigo was a real earthquake. People around me was so confused cause they feel nothing hahah. Also because in Indonesia there's a lot of earthquakes, I can't tell the difference between a real earthquake and my vertigo😂

We have earthquake all the time in nz u can here them come before the shake sounds like a train coming look luck...

your little one's very tough so were you all.

if the earthquake is at sea and there is no tsunami forecast, then you are safe, especially since you are on a plateau at that time. earthquake happend everytime in indonesia, the key is if you see the local calm you know its alright, if local panic then its a bad one.
