This is so instrumental in understanding the physics of the universe and it’s just crazy how simple you made it seem compared to the researchers article which I read

LiGo detected gravitational waves and proved Einstein’s theory in 2015. The cool thing about these gravitational waves are their length and frequency and what they may be able to tell us about the earliest times of the Big Bang. That has some interesting applications for physics too. Great video, keep up the good work.

At least now we have data on gravitational waves, soon they'll be linked to how and why galaxies are drifting apart and or collide. Good science.

As above, as down below. The theory of super fuild really makes it make sense.

This leavess me wondering. Are their technologies that can allow us to detect other species out their using this gravitational wave?

What if you use dual frequencies and multiple masking angles to "take" pictures of black holes. One high frequency and one low frequency; some masking angles wide, some narrow; some beyond the event horizon, some before the event horizon: all to clarify the picture and get rid of fuzziness?

I live right by LIGO/Hanford, pretty cool having it just a literal few miles away. Also where the plutonium for the Nagasaki bomb was produced. The Tri-Cities WA or Richland WA

If the methane they use has to be refined to be quite pure, what difference would it make if it started as biomethane?

I think there might be an error in the content. I have understood that pulsars originate from supermassive black holes, not stars that almost became a black hole as the video states. Am I wrong?

assuming any theory = truth from science that can't account for 95%+ of the mass in the universe claiming to know how pulsars work is missguided?

Pulsars are neutron stars, which are stars that did not have enough original mass to collapse all the way to a black hole. So, video is correct.

@@ianreid2226 ohhh yes, that's right. I stand corrected. Maybe if they have made more mention of the neutron star factor then I might have not mixed it up

Dude, it's not pronounced "liggo", it's pronounced "ly-go". Want proof? Listen to literally anyone who works there. In the same way it's difficult to take a so-called nuclear expert seriously when they say "nuke-u-ler", it's equally difficult to take you seriously when you can't even bother to pronounce LiGo correctly. This isn't hard. Do better.
