Scientists Just Discovered A Vast Hidden Ocean Inside Earth

Ғылым және технология

Scientists have found concrete evidence that there's a vast ocean beneath the Earth's surface. The idea of an underwater world has driven plenty of science fiction, but now, one group of researchers says it's not too far from science fact. They've discovered an area inside the Earth's surface that's believed to hold many times more water than the rest of Earth's oceans combined.
If it turns out to be accurate, our models of how water appeared on the Earth might need serious revisions. It would also be a turning point in our understanding of the interior of the Earth. But the intriguing question is how they found evidence about this undiscovered ocean. What led them to propose such a radical idea?
This video explains the discovery in detail.

If one diamond is the only proof, i'm still not sold on mega-ocean. Maybe more probable are some kinds of underground rivers in places, maybe some large pockets, stretches and basins down there, but turbo-ocean? I'll need more to buy that. Although, i like the idea. Cool video and very interesting one, nonetheless. Really tickled my mind in a pleasant way.

Yeah, it's difficult to assume that the only life on earth is literally only on the surface. Think of an apple. It's like saying that life only flourishes on the very thin apple skin, and is non existent on the rest of the apple under the skin. Life literally flourishes everywhere here on the surface, and spreads extremely quickly, so I can see life underground for sure.

@@raz6630 Did you know that answer to that eternal question ''what came first?'' is always - the egg. The egg came first. How come? Well, long story short - chicken is a bird, isn't it? And all birds descended from animals that dwelled on Earth much earlier. Dinosaurs. And those dinosaurs also laid eggs. Actually, not only that dinosaurs laid eggs... but, egg (amniotic sac) is the very thing that made animals conquer land masses. Amniotic sac - amniotes, a clade of tetrapod vertebrates, is named after Greek word ἀμνίον (amnion), meaning "membrane surrounding the fetus". Amnion membrane, for example, served for embryonic protection. Chorion (the outer most membrane) served for gas exchange, respiration. Allantois membrane served for metabolic waste disposal/storage. It gave parents an option to reproduce away from bodies of water. Also, better homeostasis in dry surroundings. And much more efficient air respiration which could power terrestrial locomotion. As well as safety from predators... So, they came up with an egg thing, and here we are. Bible said that world is 6-7 thousand years old... which means - no early terrestrial life. No dinosaurs even. No dinosaurs, no chicken. No chicken, no chicken eggs... My question is - was that omlet i had for breakfast even real? Kidding. Not to show any lack of respect towards your beliefs, i simply chose a light hearted way to say that it is hard for many to accept it, if there is no consistencies - which is again a simple way of saying, we cannot pick and choose. Scientific method is one of the greatest reaches of human mind. It is hard to discard it, once you let it perfectly click with your human experience. It is a shame to ignore it. Stay well...

Mars has the same ocean underneath the basalt, where it is highly compressed due to excessive top weight. Earth for 3.5 billion years has been differentiating the basalt, through processes of subduction, where the silicate rises along with water that fills the clouds and oceans and the silicate forms additional land mass. The iron and nickel continue to sink in subduction working its way to the core where the iron and nickel melt and join the core. Our planet is differentiating the basalt, where the basalt at the mid ocean ridge has less iron and nickel than the basalt up against the shore, the reason for this is that the core is inheriting the iron and nickel from topside by virtue of its weight and the simple fact that we are in the Goldilocks zone. Mars is highly compressed but once Plate tectonics roots itself Mars too will decompress and its will no longer be the tiny planet out in space, it will resemble earth in every possible way, including its distance from the sun.

This would explain Many key points like how Earth cooled fast enough for life to begin, Why Earth was not completely distorted by this impact, although the explosive impact took large enough chunks of earth rock creating our moon, And how Earth received its water that has been proven originated in the outer solar system!!! I wouldn't be surprised if the reason we don't focus more inside the earth is because space was left open to us. Underground, they didn't want us bothering them. We are conceited thinking we are alone in space or the highest beings on this planet. It's clear life is everywhere, and we refuse to acknowlege it or look at the evidence, we keep saying we have none while we live and breath as beings from underground who forgot we were left up here as a punishment thousands of years ago. We are either an entertainment or a threat to those on the inside with our unpredictable behavior unable to work together as a coherent species or acknowlege reality and accept them. We are so base level that we turn their characters into cults of personality if they visit us and try to help, or we shoot them down, or we do absurd culty things attempting to gain their favor while likely creating disgust in them. Many of our minds can't cope with the reality that we are considered a lesser species by higher beings living in paradise and keeping us out. Ah, the great ego of the human condition. We have potential for telempathic communication, higher learning, and yet we are currently socially stuck to ourselves instead trying to evolve out of our 3D thinking.

@@psychedelicpigeon6089 as for theory vs actual observations I tend to keep the two separated. But here’s my theory: I tend to believe the hollow earth idea only not like most people would think. If the inner workings of the planet are liquid in nature. Then I’m inclined to believe it would do something similar to the bubble core experiments they did on the ISS with a spinning sphere of water. The rotation caused the air cavities to condense into the core while moving the liquid and tea leaves to the surface of the sphere. Hence why the crust is a solid. As for the core dynamo in the center. I’m inclined to believe that’s the focal point of the electrical circuit that makes up our planet in the larger solar system circuit. My guess is there is a dynamo happening there. Idk if it’s more like a star in a planet or just the pinch point or something like that. 🤷‍♂️ Anyways that point causes the heat and liquification of the inner material. 🤷‍♂️ That’s my theory anyways, nothing really to base it upon other than from an electrical engendering standpoint. What happens to a piece of metal that’s put inside a magnetic coil, it melts. Because it’s in that center of the field. I know someone’s likely to shoot this but hey it’s only a theory and I’m not claiming I know it as fact.

An interesting addition to the explanation of this process would have been to set some parameters to this "faster than expected" cooling event. Will the magnetic field go away in a time frame shorter than it will take the sun to increase enough in brightness to boil away the oceans? In other words, will the planet be habitable long enough for this faster cooling event to matter

  • @psihostrumpf6233

I remember one anecdote told by Carl Sagan when he was lecturing students about our Sun's future and how it will grow enough to not only boil the oceans, but probably blow away few kilometers of upper layers of Earth's crust. One nervous student held his hand up high until professor noticed him and asked: was it 5 million or 5 billion years until such event? And after Carl Sagan laughed a bit, he told him that it probably wouldn't matter to any of us, but it is expected in 5 billion years... not millions. After which the student blew a sigh of relief. Hahaha! Anyway, not to rain on your parade, but this planet most likely won't be habitable long enough for anything to matter on such scales, including faster cooling...

The water is made of it on its way up by reacting with oxygen, and by slowly seeping towards the surface, we are getting more and more water... This video only reinforced my belief.

This explains in the [Book of Genesis 7:11, 19] "on that day the fountains of the great deep were broken up.... and the waters prevailed exceedingly on the earth, that all mountains under the sky were covered." imagine there is an ocean 3x huge under. so the Noah's flood story is true. if this huge amount of ocean reservoir went up the earth we will all drown. this also explains how the water was drained after God's punishment. it is possible that the water got back in the very deep. 📖

@@pabloescobar7506lol you're hilarious. there is absolutely 0 proof from hollow earth theory. Also that's not even the right word, it's a hypothesis, or even better, a shitty speculation. We can tell the earth is not hollow because of allllll the data we have. Observing gravitational interactions between the earth, moon, sun, etc. earth has a ton of mass and that mass isn't just magically on the surface. Seismic waves from earthquakes go through the entirety of earths volume, we can observe and study what's inside. The same way an ultrasound or a xray scan can see inside a body without gutting them. Another one is temperature. We know how much heat we get from the sun, there's an imbalance that obviously comes from somewhere aka in the earth. Another example is the same way you can tell a bell is hollow, by hitting it and seeing what happens on the other sides. You can calculate density by measuring how long the vibrations take to cross the distance. We've done nuclear testing, volcanoes, etc. Where's your proof? Where's your detailed explanation explaining how the hollow earth is real other than listening to dumb asses and watching random KZread videos? The truth is you just want to believe it so bad that anything disproving it goes in one ear and out the other. It's called delusion. You want it to exist so bad. But it doesn't. I can go on and on of more facts than you will ever ever ever ever provide bc you can't lol. It's just something you want to believe. But... it's not real. 😱 please start using all of your brain and not just 0.1% of it.

When you look at the earth, the Pangea hypothesis doesn’t make sense. Rather than a single gigantic continent, that might of lopsided the planet, split apart and redistributed itself around earth’s surface, it appears more like the planet expanded out, retaining its puzzle like features that could be fitted back together. A huge subterranean ocean might point to an event, or multiple events, that cause earth to expand from the inside out.
