Don't know about brighter, but I remember a high school science demonstration where a sodium flame cast a shadow when using a sodium lamp; sodium's absorbtion spectrum is the exact same as its radiation spectrum.

Infact flame does have a shadow bcos it’s basically just hot particles glowing, but there is so little of that that the shadow it makes is usually removed by the flame it self

I had a dream where that happened to me once. A tiny sprout was on my right outer ankle. Also, there's a Tumblr user who had a small sprout grow from the palm of theur hand and they bled when they pulled it out. They showed photo evidence and got yelled at for destroying a possible future of human/plant hybrids.

In fact, from just the reaction, there would be a net increase in pressure. Wax is made of hydrocarbons, and while for every CO2 molecule, a whole O2 molecule is sonsumed (net 0 effect), for every H2O molecule, only half an O2 molecule is consumed, slightly increasing the number of molecules and as such the pressure. So yes, it is probably heat trickery.
