SCIENCE ALLIANCE AT THE ONTARIO SCIENCE CENTRE (1981)
Some nice glimpses of the 81' era Ontario Science Centre, which has now been closed permanently :(
Retrontario’s primary mission is the preservation, research and exhibition of rare videotape recordings (1970s to 1990s) recorded off of any and all Ontario (and surrounding area) TV channels; footage which would likely be lost if not sought out and preserved digitally. We also hope to create an ongoing oral history of this content through comments left below the videos. Which was intentionally left to deteriorate for years as an excuse to relocate the Science Centre and make way for condominiums.
Ah, I remember that dish at 11:10. That was in the old "communications" room. There was a parabolic mic on the second floor and you could go up there and point it at anyone in the room and listen to what they were saying. So much fun back in the day.

I hope that the fix the problems with the roof. Can't be permanently closed. I hope it opens again eventually.

The Sciemce Centre is closed⁉😮 I was in grades 9 & 10 in '81 so I never saw this show. Thanks ❤

My question is when was the roof needed to be repaired first? How bad was the roof left and past.on to the conservatives.
