    This was so helpful. I've been suffering from piriformis syndrome for months and trying everything to get relief. I purchased an inversion table, exercise bands, massagers and nothing could address the problem area. I tried a foam roller today and finally I could focus the pressure deep enough into my butt and thigh muscle to get some relief. I'm going to keep doing these exercises with the foam roller. It makes a big difference.

    Thanks for the video content! Forgive me for chiming in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you ever tried - Parlandealey Leaving Pain Process (do a search on google)? It is a good one of a kind guide for learning how to cure Sciatica minus the hard work. Ive heard some great things about it and my best friend Jordan after many years got excellent success with it.

    Oh, I am definitely watching that again. A question if you may: What about the Gonstead method, is it a part of chiropractic science or is it a different branch?

  • @MoveWellLiveWell

    Gonstead is a a chiropractic method that some chiropractors choose to study and get certified in after completing their chiropractic education. Thank you for your question.

    I have pain in the same areas. I wake up with my calf muscle aching. It seems to originate in the low back to hamstring area. Hope that you found relief. This foam roller technique is helping me. Pain is gone from my calf muscle so far..

    I am sure this is helpful for skinny people; but, what about people who can't sit on that roller, overweight people and much older?

  • @JohnB-xg2om

    @JohnB-xg2om

    I fit into the overweight category... Is it easy ? Not particularly but it isn't impossible and gradually building up really helps, let me tell you even 10/15 seconds of these stretches you REALLY feel it on the nerve is it a miracle cure no but it sure helps me in between massage appointments and thus saves me money, thanks for the excellent video
