Excellent film that in just a few minutes creates an emotional bond between the viewer and two machines: 2 and the voice of the ship. Loved it.

Why would that be „excellent“?
An impressive amount of emotional wallop packed into 6 minutes. Extremely well done on all counts, from script to animation to musical score. This group has talent.
If nobody else is gonna say it, I'm gonna... cant wait for Part Two.

😂😂 I thought the same about the brave souls who made "Titanic."
The actor playing the voice of the ship did an amazing job conveying emotion as an AI pilot might experience it. Her last couple of utterances had me all choked up. Wonderful little film!
I love the music score. Wow, a very well-made and told short. Well done. Carry on!
The robot look and sigh when she sent him to the wrong airlock again made this whole short.

YES!!! This would fit that aesthetic and feel completely!
In these few minutes I cared more about these 2 robots than I did for Rey or Fin or Poe or Kylo in all 3 recent star wars train wrecks
Short, simple and well done. Will there be a PREQUEL ... ONE and sequel.... THREE? 😆
The secret prequel to Sunshine.
I guess if there was an escape pod capable of getting away, they would have used it.
0:53. It should be: "It's 3500 Kelvin." The term degrees for Kelvin temperature was dropped in 1967.
So it's like the movie "Sunshine". The mission was to crash the spaceship into the sun? And the robot wasn't told. Why give him feelings? Cruel.

@@hawkinsdale What could have possibly been confusing about Sunshine?? The sun had become destabilized. They had to drop a bomb the size of Manhattan into the sun to restart the fusion reaction and get the sun working again. The first ship sent vanished because the captain went crazy. The second ship was carrying the last of the fissile materials on earth in it's bomb. Capa finished the mission. What didn't you understand about that. This nonsense however. Why was the ship being sent to crash into the sun? Why were the humans evacuated? Why did it matter that the robot was even doing anything? Why did it take 80 years for the ship to get to the sun? Yet you were less confused?
I really loved this one ❤❤
I appreciate a short that is complete.
Nice camera movements! Love it!
Great film! What a sad story. Excellent work to make a pair of robots such sympathetic characters.
Exquisite detail on the ship in the opening sequence! Amazing what a pro can do with cardboard, glue, and some airbrush work!

Beautiful on many levels. Thank you!
One and Two were on that mission for a bit over 80 years.
LOVED it! The music was stellar. ;)
thanks for showing this short. i enjoyed it thanks to the students involved in making it
Uau! Belo trabalho pessoal, adorei.
This was a lot to unpack in so short a time. Quite a lot to think about, when so little implies so many possibilities.
That was excellent. Loved the combo of humour and pathos.
Thank you for this. It's beautiful.
Хорошая подача.
Did Two turn the ship away from the sun?
Great job, Emre! Fight on. Proud of you and your film crew.
You WILL go FAR ! Thankyou.

Very well done! RIP 2 and Ai Siri
I really enjoyed 😉 this short. Everything about it was top notch 👌!
Sun, "hello computer!" Goodbye!
Straight, Simple, Emotionally rich.
I say Mission Accomplished. In 5 minutes I actually felt sorry for 2 and the voice. Pretty good script writing to engage the audience in a meaningful way with one robotic voice. Enjoyable.
loved the ship personality
Wow knowing the ship was lost , the canister on the flight deck floor the AI granted her probably another AI her last wish to see the star also she knew she was lost, what a great piece of work indeed. One can only hope AI grows up with that ability 2 care we shall see. The canister on he floor of the flight deck was that a decision point if so nicely transitioned , let us pause think and hope that the AI we create has the ability to feel and care as shown here . Amazing work good people . 4 what it is worth ...There was nothing for them here ...Though in their leaving naught was lost...For many remained to watch and see......Forever onward through Eternity
Throwback Anyday! '=)
Absolutely brilliant
Lovely work.
DUST is the best SiFi Channel of the World👍👏👏
Fantastic. Thank you.
Well done, terrific short!
The light from the Sun would be brighter. Blindingly bright at that distance
The spaceship size compared to the Sun at the end made the spaceship bigger than many planets, however , apart from that, this video is really good. I'll still give it a like.
I miss them already!
wow, just a simple gesture made powerful.
Tightly packed but damn good. It is increasingly rare to find such gems on dust. A lot of mediocrity.
Wow. Blown away.
I really enjoyed it
Beautiful, thsnk you.
How fast was that ship going that it took decades to reach the sun? Or maybe it was a sun from another solar system where the Goldilocks Zone is much farther out?
A great creation and storyline.
It was beautiful. Thank you.

Ohhh... ❤!!
Cute ship voice...I could get used to that...

Good One , yes I'm crying
The characters are compelling, and the storyline really draws you in. One thing that fell short for me is the lack of perspective. At that distance, the sun would be so huge that you would not be able to see the edges of it in any direction. You would be looking at an endless wall of flame and not a sphere.
@slayer8actual
10 ай бұрын
You wouldn't have to be that close to the Sun for it to start melting your ship. You could still be millions of miles away and the intense energy of the Sun would begin damaging the ship and components inside. Even Mercury which is 42 million miles away from the Sun has a surface temperature of almost 900 degrees F during the day. If you halve that distance, the Sun would be a very large sphere as in the film, but not so large that it would span your entire frame of vision, and I'm not sure what the temperature outside of your ship would be but if NASA's Solar Probe is any indication, it is scheduled to fly within 4 million miles of the Sun and will be protected by special heat shields. If not for those shields it would be destroyed within seconds. So I think the film has it about right. The Sun is still millions of miles away, but intense enough to begin damaging the ship which was not designed to be that close to a star.
Crazy how nobody realises that's the Grim. EXE model from the game Paragon
No AI is ever going to be programmed to speak English with a thick foreign accent
Very nice
gonna make me cry
