My favorite teacher ever was probably my 7th and 8th grade science teacher. He taught 7th graders Earth science and 8th graders Life science. He had a skeleton that would sit at a desk named Bob. If you were in trouble you had to sit next to Bob. Kids eventually sat their for fun. He got the nickname Bear bc he could either be a Teddy Bear, all laughs and making jokes with the students, or a Polar Bear bringing out his Army voice (he never needed a microphone for assemblies or awards). Mr. Hawkins is definitely a great teacher.

That teacher with stare I think is actually a right one here. I heard before the vid was recorded,the teacher already ask the student to sit back at her own seats many times but the students keep coming back. The teacher want to talk it out with her but the teacher stop when she realise someone is recording. She just stand there and stare because she can't win the argument I heard.

I think it depends on the context. If a student is told to not work with their friend because of disruption/distraction, then the student needs to move. Teachers aren’t a punching bag for you. There are shitty teachers and shity students :/

@@saitama4469 but that's the thing, you. don't .know, u don't know if the teacher told that student to go back to her seat before the recording, and if students are allowed to help their classmates then it's fine, maybe the teacher was already busy doing something else, u can't just take the teacher's side OR the student's without knowing the whole story (unless u know the whole story behind the video). P . S. it seems like the teacher is mad at the student for something but the student sounds like she's being reasonable.

I stood up for myself against a teacher a few days ago. So the teachers always ask us to close our laptops while they are going through the lesson. Fair:yes because a lot of the kids play games. I was placed at the back of the class not because I did or didn't do something just because that's where the teacher put me. Now, I can't read all that well so sitting at the back of the class trying to read what's on the board at the front of the class was very hard. So I got the work my ,teacher was explaining, up on my computer so I could read it. Then my teacher said "Ruby close you laptop" and so I said " I'm looking at the work on my computer" she thought I was lying and said "oh you can't read what's on the board huh" and I said " no I can't read from this far away". She just glared at me and went on with the lesson.

Both of my parents were teachers. My Dad is still a fitness teacher and during the pandemic, he didn't make his students do any virtual swimming.

In the tiktok of the student "helping" her friend, what was happening was the teacher told the girl multiple times to go back to her seat, nonetheless the student defied the teacher and didn't listen. So, the teacher isn't in the wrong here. I swear these teachers don't get paid enough to have to do deal with these students

The thing is, if she's helping her friend doesn't that mean the teacher does a shit job teaching? She's helping her friend, actually the teacher should be happy. Her students are willing to help each other. How are you supposed to help someone if they sit far from you? And also is it bad to move seats? Esp when the intention is nice. If she doesn't want her students to sit wherever then she should help her students, like she should.

I remember when I was in elementary and went to aftercare they gave us free food and drinks but only when it was *EXPIRED* !! I didn't have a snack and I wasn't gonna eat/drink expired things and the mean head lady said to me "You either eat/drink this or you can starve!"
