Chemical Impacts On Brain Health.
Neurotoxicology is a relatively new field, but the team at UC Davis - led by the School for Veterinary Medicine -- is generating important insights into the complex problems facing our society. Two big research efforts, involving a campus-wide collaboration of scientists, doctors, chemists, toxicologists and engineers include understanding chemical threat agents that trigger seizures and also the impact of traffic-related air pollution on neurodegenerative and neurodevelopmental diseases.
