Actual Story: There was a summer reading project this year and I was notified about it a month into summer. So I crammed it in which was miserable. Then after two weeks of school I asked my teacher when it was due. She said that the school never told her anything about it, so it was just an optional assignment. I then screamed into a pillow :(

I feel like school should be like this: for most of school kindergarten-6th grade you learn about lots of different topics and subjects, then at 7-8th you choose one or two things to learn about (for your job). I believe much more students would get better jobs and like school more.

@@Bogiebubby The US system is built so that we can change what life path we wanna go with at any age. I could be 40 and decide I wanna be a lawyer and go to law school, so there's not really a big deal with choosing what to do at like 7th or 8th grade.

Better idea: You get a brain scan at birth to see what your aptitude will be. You are then assigned a career by the government, and you got to school for several years for that specific purpose - and around 13-14 a job is assigned to you and you begin your wonderfully fulfilling and life-long career.

So you know those times in school where the teacher let everybody watch a movie but you had to answer questions or something. A few days ago we had to do that in one of my classes but there were like 5 questions and the answers were in the first 10 minutes of it and the teacher didn’t know so we just watched a movie almost all hour note free.
