My math class is able to argue to get less points taken off on questions that we got wrong, he hears us out even though we are, for a fact, wrong but he likes arguing so if we have a fair point then we get some the points. My class is quite lucky in that part since we have the kids that get into arguments all the time

OMG, i’m in eighth grade, I remember one time I was working on an assignment because I was going to be busy after school that day and the teacher yelled at me even though it was private reading time and we’re supposed to do our homework before reading, she said that I was just trying to work ahead.

I use to start treating tests, quizzes, and exams as regular homework and it usually ended not making me worry about it too much. Teachers only make tests, quizzes, and exams like it’s the end of the world for you and causes performance issues when it’s only been the same/or similar questions you’ve been studying for. In the end, the only thing you actually have to worry about is how much time teachers give you. Other than that, I believe anyone could score big. If not there’s sometimes retakes (don’t forget to ask for them).

AND ANOTHER THING: i dont think she believes in fucking depression and anxitey. alright now a story kids that happened today: im on a 504 plan (look it up if u dont know but basic rundown is bc of my anxiety, im aloud to take tests in private or get an extra day on the work-i dont ever use it unless i know im going to lash out) anyway i had this big math test right? prior to this, i learned i got 13/25 on a huge wrtieup for english and so had several breakdowns. i asked my teacher if i could take the test in private cause crowded places make me overwhemlmed after panic attacks. and this mf said no. 15 min go by, im still a shaking mess in the corner of the classroom ("it's quieter there and you can turn your desk around"-what she said) and i ask if i could call my dad. holy shit the color drained from her face cause she knew she fucked up. after im done and im heading up to the office she asks me "you know what you can take your test in private its alright!!" i told my councilor and also my french teacher and both were livid about it (best teacher and counselor ever so lucky to have them). so yeah and i have three more quarters with her :)
