I fished alone this arvo, knowing the crap weather would clear the pier of most fishers. Even as I rode out I had to stop and put the umbrella up for 10 minutes until the heavy shower passed. I had hoped the wind predicted of 35 knots would not eventuate, but it did. I caught a 54cm School Mackerel and 2 x 53cm Blue Thredfin. All on live Herring. Herring were mainly large and at times had to be worked for. Thanks to Jesse for his assistance when needed.
