to be COMPLETELY honest i did do and/or PROBABLY will really LOVE schiperkees

I've had three Schipperkes and each one had different personalities. I have to say that I will not own any other dog except for a schipperke. Such an awesome breed!

I watch this video and it brings me to tears. My little boys name was Skippy. I miss that little dog so much. I used to call him my little son. He was the smartest dog I have ever seen. He used to love to fish with me. I miss my little boy.

We are sorry for your loss ... we also lost great Schipperkes before ... perhaps you could adopt or get a new puppy that will love you back so much that it will replace your current sadness by new joy ...

The pups are adorable. I got mine when she was six. She's fourteen now. Absolutely the best dog I've ever had the priveledg of being with. Very good video.

My little Schipperke crossed the Rainbow Bridge onNew Years Day after a 14-year lifespan. I miss the hell out of her.

Had two, down to one now. Great dogs but I wouldn't recommend them for first time owners. If you are not an alpha things will also go bad. They need strong owners. They are very stubborn but they are also very protective of their owners.

Your dogs look so fit and healthy. We are looking forward to picking up our Schipperske pup and he will also be living aboard with us. What do you feed yours and do you have any challenges with finding your dog food when traveling?

My wife and I have a 1yo and until yesterday, we had no idea he was a schipperke. The lady who gave him to us told our daughter that he was a pomchi. Needless to say, he's a handful. He didn't get the training he should have had. We are going to a trainer next week and see if he can still be trained. I hope he not too old.

never too late .. but harder. If you don't train a Schipperke , he will train you :)

I'm really enjoying your videos I just lost my Pomeranian terrier mix and I've been talking with my vet she has a schipperke available and he's 6 years old has a weight problem that can be worked out with food my question is do you think a schipperke would be good in a fairly large apartment thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you for your video

A big apartment is indeed a nice thing as Schipperkes need space and adventure. Is that 6-yr old Schipperke well trained? Keep in mind that Schipperke have strong personalities and that training an older dog is harder than a puppy ... If you have time and are willing to train him (if needed), you won't be trained by your Schipperke, lol. Schipperkes are fantastic dogs but coach potatoes they are not ! Take him with you on walk, car rides, swim, play games and enjoy each other company :)

How cute! We’re thinking of getting a Schipperke as our next dog. Are you a professional breeder? Or can you recommend a breeder?

We only breed our pair ... we should have some puppies mid of 2018 ... but they will be born in the Philippines .. There are several reputable breeders in the US, they don't have to be professional ... just caring for their animals ..

Tropical Sailing Life Yes! Shortly after I contacted you. Skippy came to us at the beginning of my husband’s cancer journey 2 years ago. She came to us as a wild puppy and is now a sweet hospice dog, having seen my husband through to the end. But we managed to travel 40,000 miles as a trio and have had an awesome adventure so far! Now it’s just Skippy and me. I call her my Skipster. I’m 68 years old now and plan to get back on the road as soon as ALL people in this country realize the serious situation we’re in and start working together to stop this virus. For now, even a short trip to the farmers market is a wonderful adventure for Skippy! Thanks for checking in! I haven’t followed your travels lately because of my husbands illness. He passed away on May 17 and told me to keep traveling...so until then I’ll start getting inspired by watching you!

Just curious, did you travel the ocean like us or the roads in a mobile home ? Wish you many more adventures and stay healthy!

Probably not the best idea as Schipperkes like stimulation ... If you leave them too many hours getting bored, they might use their imagination to destroy things. They can be left unattended for a few hours at the time without problem .. they are adaptable but you should spend time with them ... If you have a fenced garden where they can bark at birds, see people passing by by ex. that might work :)

Hi beautiful little babies you have there lost my baby boy tego last week to age :-(. Looking to purchase a baby skipper but I was wondering if they come in smaller size my boy was small like 8/10lbs like a small toy size

Sorry for your loss ... Tego was indeed a very small & light dog ... Our female adult is 15 Lbs and our male adult is about 20 Lbs ... that is the range of all our Schipperkes ....

Wasn’t that hard to train them a boat I would be scared to death.
