Come to Singapore, there's a lot of rich handicapped all over the street who need this. 40k is nothing. Just remember to convert the power source to 220V.

That costs more than my car. I'll stick with my manual. Still, a very cool product.

Can it easily go up sidewalk curbs without having to set up the stair climbing mechanism?

Hi Mark, using BRO, curbs of up to 50mm can be overcome in drive mode (driving on the large wheels). For 51 - 200mm one uses the stair climbing mode (driving on tracks).

Our BRO costs 36'000 swiss francs. A comparable power wheelchair without stair climbing function costs between 22'000 and 26'000 Swiss francs. A stair lift costs an additional approx. 10'000 Swiss francs per floor. Our power wheelchair combines both functions. Besides, you can't just take a stair lift everywhere. The BRO therefore significantly increases the flexibility and independence of people in wheelchairs. Moreover, it does not look like a conventional wheelchair, but impresses with its modern design.

We are sorry you feel that way! If you buy another electric wheelchair and a stairclimbing aid you would pay as much as our wheelchair costs or even more. Also, we are a young company and just started to deliver our first models, who knows what the future might look. Wishing you all the best!
