I have been loving Blue Coconut Beach. I have used it in my modest open concept (it was light), bedrooms (did good) and bathrooms (did good). On average it was a day or so for longevity (a little less in open concept). Recently I put it in our finished basement and that scent went for days!!! At 5 days I could still smell it and only took it out because I wanted something new. The melting spaces make so much of a difference! We run a dehumidifier in our basement so I think humidity makes a significant impact in scent performance in addition to all the other factors to take into consideration. So, after that, I have been trying other bars down there that I wasn’t that impressed with previously. Churro Churro was sadly still too light for me to consider a repurchase or club bar, but I was at least able to get a better performance down there. I couldn’t smell it AT ALL when I melted in a bedroom.

I was surprised that they pulled the mothers Day scents so early this year, as it seemed Blue Coconut Beach was getting good feedback.

I love 100 Acre Wood! It’s one of my favorite scents, I expected it to be light, based on reviews, but was pleasantly surprised how strong it was in my bedroom! For me it’s very strong, and you’re right, it’s also long lasting. I also get lavender when I smell it. Such a pleasant and pretty scent! It will forever be in my club.

The stronger ones can hold their own but also can be mixed / modified to lessen their strength. The only way to modify light scents is to use more and more, which also costs more 🙁

This was fun to watch! I totally agree with every bar, well thought out! I use Clothesline like you use Around the Campfire 😂. That said, it has the most beautiful sweet floral note when used in small doses. If using full cubes, that same sweet floral comes out after 24 hours of warming and lasts for 2-3 more days! It’s unfortunate many people will likely never get to that stage because the linen is so crazy strong and off putting. I love it in room spray as well. That’s where the true floral really shines! Great review for this seasons catalog, thank you!

I love the strong and long videos! It’s how I found you because my open concept is a huge issue with smelling the scents! I don’t even have a large home but my living space is open. So thank you!! I do feel like you missed one though. I get a strong scent from Blue Grotto but it could just be my nose. And Coconut lemongrass too

Glad you’re doing this video. New folks and us oldies look forward to these kinds of topics. 🙂 A friend always has a large basket party each catalog season & it’s so interesting what all of her clients order. No matter their preference, none ordered scents that are light or harder to smell in the testers. I feel they miss out on quite a few they’d actually like warming. Jammy time was on maybe 80% of the orders (one order had 12 bars). Clothesline, Banana Leaf n Bamboo and Rainbow Sherbet were next. Strong scents. It’s always interesting seeing these patterns with testers or reorders.

I think there definitely are some people that prefer scents on the lighter side. In general I expect (due to the price) that people prefer the stronger scents from testers because it’s a good chance they will smell them well enough. Perhaps as consultants we try everything and enjoy lighter scents for their appeal, but personally I don’t like the lighter scents because I’m worried I’ll be disappointed as well as my customers.

I am very late watching this, but really appreciate your strong and long videos Patricia! I agree with all of the ones you mention in this video. Skinny Dippin lasts at least 3 days in my home and is still one of my favorites! ( bulb warmers get turned off at night, but, element warmers are on 24-7)

This was a lovely surprise to ring in Summer!! 🥰 Have you tried the coco(nuts) for coconuts fragrance flower? I’m wondering if it’s as strong as the bar. I’m having terrible fragrance flower luck. I just use one in my downstairs bathroom and it always seems to get “stuck” drawing up the oil. I do remove the paper wrap on the end of the cord but at best I maybe use 2 a year at this rate. So I haven’t tried many

I love these videos! I'm team strong because I like to change my wax daily. Bonfire Beach lasts forever! It's the only salty scent from Scentsy so far that doesn't turn my stomach and I really like it. Now that the a/c is going I can smell my wax until around 1 PM maybe 2 PM......it's crazy! Thanks for continuing to do these videos! 😊

Love these videos! I find peace lily pretty strong and lasting. Coconuts didn't do well in open but great in bedroom. If anyone curious on bbmb watermelon patch...it was awful. Maybe my bar but hubby made me get rid of. Not sure why had stinky feet smell? 😕

Hi Patrica! Clothesline is one of our favorite laundry scents. Laundry, fresh, masculine, and floral are all some of our least favorites, lol! Coco Lime is a good one and, I’ve warmed Vanilla Waves in the same room and they played nice together. You are the first person to mention banana in Ruby Nectarine. We get a fruit salad with bananas in it 🤣 Thank you! 🌷

Vanilla Waves and Clothesline give a good impact for me too. They also last a long time!

If I can't smell it, it doesn't matter if I can't smell it for a long time or not lol. I am most interested in strong scents for a large open concept, then I have some a bit lighter (but not light) for bedrooms. Very light scents I don't bother with.

I tend to Avoid the very light scents too, just because they annoy me if I can’t smell them and wax is not cheap

I dont know if its the flow of my house or what, but for me, the best "bang for your buck" has always been clothesline. While laundry type scents might not be my go to, clothesline is a pretty scent, that is both, strong and long lasting for me. And im not kidding, 11 days average of noticable scent from 2 cubes in a warmer (I turn warmers off at night). Its crazy! I always include it in my 6 pack order.

I like it too. I don’t warm any one scent too often just because of all the wax I have but I hope that one sticks around

Bonfire Beach is a favorite. It's a reminder of when my deceased husband took us beach camping and we ended the night with a fire. And I now know what to avoid as I'm finding those strong scents are not my thing.

Yes the lavender is the dominant note to my nose (but then again I’m not a huge fan of lavender)

Great list!!!! I think I remember you saying in another video that you turn your warmers on and off during the day. I turn mine off during the week when I leave for work but tend to leave them on all day on weekends when I'm home. It seems like the scents aren't as strong or long with turning warmers on and off when compared to leaving on all the time. Do you notice that as well??
