#Scenery

Ойын-сауық

I'm in an autumn mood. The trees nearby look very much like these today. Summer's gone. Feeling melancholy.

Thank you. This song suits that background so well. The woods in this video (free on google) are really similar to the woods across the road from my house. And when I lived near one of our state parks, I walked in a forest very much like this every day for many years. I've been feeling a bit down lately because I know the entire group will be gone next year... all at once. And I don't know what I'll do. Oh... I started the second channel for eclectic musings but my heart isn't there yet. I hope I can find the inspiration I'm looking for to get that off the ground. 🕊😇💜

@@nellies-taekook-journals if the guys are lucky they will only serve 18mnths and not 24 months. Did you hear that they signed their new contract already, bighits put out a statement last month to let the army know what's going on. To my opinion if they would have gone in through the pandemic they would have been out this year. The defense minister and the government said that if they have to be together for award ceremony or having to appear at a embassy they will be allowed to go.

@@dougbarron7236 Yes, the SK Army is an 18 month stint. SUGA, because he's doing social service because of his shoulder injury, will have to do 21 months but he'll still be out in 2025. As for the pandemic, no one knew at first how long it would last and it lasted longer than anyone expected. They weren't ready for the military at the time and they had decided not to go in all at the same time because they really wanted some time to do solo projects. Also the government wanted to use them in promos and for concerts where any money they made would go to the military. They have been up for awards since Jin and JHope have been in but the only thing they took time off for was to attend SUGA's last concert... in the audience. I doubt that will change. Now that the SK legislature has given the chance of exemption to a guy if he wins a gold medal at a computer gaming event in China, the question is coming up again... why wasn't BTS given military exemption? It seems some people were surprised that they signed again with BIGHIT. I think every one of these guys is really smart and they did the right thing for themselves. We don't know the terms of the contracts but I trust that they each had the best lawyers in Seoul and they got the best deal that they could. HYBE is a conglomerate. BigHit is an independent subsidiary with their own rules. (Think of it like a franchise... ) BTS signed with BIGHIT taking effect in 2025 when the current contracts end... and so they are a step or two - or more - away from control by HYBE. I don't think anyone can deny that BIGHIT is the house that BTS built so why would they leave? 🕊😇💜

@@nellies-taekook-journals I read the other day that the male soccer team doesn't have to enlist either, they are totally exempt from service. The group that has brought in more money to the country than any other performer, athlete, actor/actress but yet they have to serve. Thank goodness the group is still well loved and tourists are still going to Seoul, but I wonder now how much money the government will lose because they wouldn't exempt the boys, and they will have themselves to blame.

@@dougbarron7236 That's true but It isn't fair for BTS to carry the reputation and financial welfare of the country on their backs anyway. They always said that they would serve and I don't think they were looking for exemptions. All the men in their families and their friends have or will have to serve and I think they want to do it for that reason. (not that they are looking forward to it but... it is what it is.) Jungkook is doing music featuring more English speaking artists and there's some chatter about whether his new album will be entirely in English. He's lining up promotions in Seoul though, and I haven't heard of him doing any in the US. Taehyung did his big promotions in Seoul and Tokyo and apparently sang some of his songs in Japanese when he was there. (It seems he speaks Japanese fairly well.) I am looking forward to Jungkook's new album. They have all submitted work individually to the Grammys for consideration so I do hope some of them win something... I know it's a long shot since they won't be there to collect the trophy or to perform.
