But briefly in 2018 MAMA awards Jin disclosed that they had spoken of disbanding early (Jan-Feb) because some members were having a hard time. Although all of them later expressed their own struggles during that time (like Suga saying the pressure of staying on top or loosing his real self to the Suga persona) it seems that Taekook were having the worst time. In RMs text we see him thanking JK for staying even though he was feeling exhausted. Tae broke down in tears during the MAMA awards after Jin spoke of the talks of disbanding. That’s when Kookie hugged him on stage. Both Tae & Kookie were struggling with depression and anxiety. Suga’s text to them gave them a lot of comfort. And as Kookie said, he was learning from Suga how to keep private & personal separate. Kookie said he was concerned that he was giving off a “vibe”. Also the lyrics to the songs talk of them each hiding their love. I hope this helps. Rewatch the video.

It is now almost the end of 2023. I have been thinking lately that for some reason, their relationship has turned a corner and is now stronger and more definite in their hearts. Having an understanding of the pain and confusion from their earlier years, I hope they continue to hold on tight to each other, be true to themselves, and I hope that self-love has finally filled their hearts. I have had great love, and we knew, we just knew, that we were going to spend our lives together. To grow old. However, His life was cut short. Tomorrow is never guaranteed so like I said earlier just hold on tight and celebrate who you are as an individual and who you are together. Thank you for this video. Siga is wise beyond his years. He knew the torment Tae and Jungkook were going through, and I’ll bet there’s a lot in those messages we don’t know about!

I think 2018 was the biggest heartbreak of Taekook. I mean during that time they already decided to end everything thats why Jungkook was depressed as well as Taehyung. And I think the support and love that comes from Suga help them a lot.

I also wonder if they decided they’d eventually break-up and if that changed when these talks came around. If -after reaching an all time low & receiving members’ support- they reevaluated their relationship and decided to fight until the end. It definitely seemed like a delicate period full of important decisions.

I was deeply touched by the challenges that Tae and Jungkook had to encounter. Being in their young teen years, and having not only the wall of celebrity complicating their development of relations with others, but also the wall in which different sexual orientations can cause to arise, each barrier feeding on the other. Turns out these two wonderful souls, who gave us the beautiful gift of music, song, and dance, were forced to cope with deep seated fear and pain, always wondering if you would still love them if you saw behind the mask. It is time for us to let them know how much we love them both for the gifts they gave us, and for whatever “perfect imperfections” they harbor from within. Thank you, Taekook, for being a part of our lives!

This video is a year old, but still brings out the struggles of TAEKOOK and OTHER MEMBERS. I was really touched by the wise words of JUNGKOOK. His every single word reveals, what a humble soul he is, what he truely yearns for. Sooooo Sooooo touched by his heart felt confession. This has been so beautifully narrated... I became BTS ARMY with Fake Love after seeing Taehyung but within a couple of months become OT7 and a strong Taekook shipper even though Tae still remains my bias... And now I just love how my Taekook have evolved so beautifully with so many of us giving them our full support... Hope they get to be themselves and love each other without any botheration from people who can't understand them as their indivisual selves... TAEKOOK FOREVER.💜🐰🐻💜

This is the only video that I have come across that address JK's mental state leading up to the disbandment talks. We only hear about Tae's issues and they tend to make it seem like JK was okay during that period, but there is no way that JK could've have been okay. I believe they have received counseling to deal with their independent issues as well as their joint issues. I think both Tae and JK now realize that the separation tactics were BH's way to not only protect the company, the group, but ultimately protect them. During the 2020 Festa, Jin states that he wished he had of been capable to assist him more when he shut down and the other members agreed. I think they were so focused on assisting Tae that by the time they realized JK was also in distress and peril, they were truly unprepared and scrambled to save/assist them both in the best way that they knew how. The words were no longer working and now both BH and the members needed to put action behind their words and show them both that they were not alone, they were needed, they were wanted and most of all they were loved. They also learned to separate the public life from the private life.

I’ve watched so many videos regarding Taekook just to understand more on their relationship. To be able to stay together for this long with all the ups and downs shows these two really care about each other. And as they get older their love & care for each other also grows. Their behavior shows they’re mature enough to know what they want. More blessings to you both! Stay safe & healthy!

This was deep. I would never have imagined the internal struggles they’re experiencing. They came on my radar about 2 1/2 weeks before the solo project announcement. I’ve become a big fan of their music and story. After this back story I’m an even bigger fan.

Same. Only for the past two months im watching n listening to bts n obsessed with taekook. I voted for VMA as well n now I’m following up bts/TK. I have watched about 1000of their videos n I watched one where jk said WHEN WE WERE TRAINING I N V HAD A GREAT CHEMISTRY (when Jimin intertwining said ‘’not now?’’)but now he (V) is becoming more reliable…that is great maturity as a couple I feel. I love when Jin said ~~ I'm so thankful to our members to hold their hearts ~~ This is so so heart broken to Taekook and not easy for them to handle with something involving the heart and feelings.

People should also take into account the cultural differences, in some countries it's okay to openly express one self - whereas, sadly not in thier country. Probably 2018 is biggest heart break year for taekook they caught on namsan date in 2018 and dispatch issue on 2018 and bts talks about disbandment issue may be bc of taekook bc they are in closet just for bts..and other memebrs eventually looked at taekook while talking about disbandment issue..jin looked at jk and said about disbandment that made tae cry badly they may thought bc of them bts downing and lastly suga msg for taekook to support their and love and to be strong..lastly taekook is true but I think they never came out and their love is not for public so lets just hope one day they will shout to the world yes we are in love

That period was definitely the hardest for Taekook, and I’m glad they have such a healthy relationship with the members who strongly support them. Nevertheless, I think BTS were all struggling and TK’s difficult situation was the final drop that made them think about disbandment. There are still high chances they’d be closeted even without being part of BTS due to their country’s environment, but at least they’d have more freedom and privacy. Let’s hope they reach a point where they’re truly happy and without fears.

Christina - thank you for your comment and the humanity that compelled you to write it. You are what our ailing world needs much more compassion and empathy for others. I believe that BTS has done a brilliant job of spreading that type of message worldwide, and I have to believe that more and more people realize how valuable they are to themselves as well as to others and that they reach deep into their souls to grab handfuls of their goodness to share with others. What may seem a small kindness to us could be more love than someone else has received in their lifetime - you never know how much good you can do for someone else with a little bit of love. Like how kind you are to recognize RM for his writing so well for Tae in Stigma and Singularity. I'm gay and perhaps that is why I immediately understood Stigma's message. Now I understand why we lately we can see Taekook moments just the way they tried to show us, in their own terms. Exactly, they have a lot at stake. It seems that living a double life does trouble them, but they’ve also accepted that it’s not the right time to come out and that their relationship is for them to enjoy, not for the public to see. Not only would real hate come their way and threaten their safety, but their relationship would be a main focus, be scrutinized and judged constantly as in “oh, this person is not being a good bf”, “are you going through a bad period?”, “did you break-up?”, etc. I think they decided to do what’s best for the group as long as it exists and that includes creating false narratives. As Jk said, he’d like to open up little by little.

Sadly, even lots of people talks about Jk and V using different cars shows that they are not close anymore. What they don't know is that lately Tae has so many death threats from crazy fans probably against their closeness , so, according to Korea media, V rides in a full security car and his security became tripled because of that matter....

This video is simply stunning. My heart was in my throat through the whole thing. We can never truly know everything that went on during that time frame, but I do think that, through their own words, songs, and actions, a fairly clear picture develops of what BTS, and particularly Taehyung and Jungkook, went through. They are telling us, but so many people don’t want to listen. Over the last year they seem to be much freer in their words and actions, and they seem so much happier. Taekook relation may not have been embraced by Management , the group may have found a way to support them. But also, loving someone in their circumstances must be one of the hardest things to face at such age. JK is introvert same as Suga but Suga handles better with his experience, JK has a hard time having to pretend to be something he is not and certainly , having to hide his identity. It goes the same for Thae, I am a mother of a gay teenager and feel for them dearly 💝my daughter still struggles accepting herself but I am by her side and will held her through. I am glad to see that Suga found a way to break through their darkness, We always need someone able to do that.🙌

I've come back to watch this several times. since you made this I have started to make videos here and they are mostly about Taehyung and Jungkook and Taekook. The wedding stage at MAMA in 2020 implored me to make a video about it - it got so little attention and the symbolism was so obvious. So at this advanced age (over 70) I picked up a new hobby. But whenever I run into an inspirational wall, I come back to watch videos that first inspired me and yours are always high on the list. Thank you so much for keeping it here. Although there are several good videos with Tae's side of this journey, yours was one of the first to give a clear picture of Jungkook's side. You are a gem. 💚🌹💜

This video clearly shows how late I am😭 but I've made sure I I've watched almost every detail of bts since 2013, of all ships I just came to think that Taekook were dating without watching their edits, just their lives and videos from songs, when I got to realize that there are also other ships I was surprised and a little hurt coz I knew there was a challenge, but I've never given up on those 2 coz I know they're real, this video clearly shows it and I'm glad I'm one of taekookers and a BTS Army 🥰💜💜💜💜

I m a mom and I support #taekook . I recently came to know about them before a month . I literally fell in love with #taekook . Wow. Did anyone else's mother instincts kick in and you wanted to stop their pain and protect them? Everyone deals with issues and especially at this time of ones life. Stardom and fame are going to intensify the pain and make the journey to oneself harder. All seven of these young men are some of the most remarkable human beings I've seen. Their humanity and humbleness has never left them as it would most. Their love, care, and support of one another is beautiful. If people were as accepting as these young men the world would be a much kinder place. I hope that they know how loved and accepted they are by so many. I hope they are now happy and accepting of whomever they find themselves to be. They deserve to be. They will never be forgotten.

The reality that they have lived where they were separated when they were in Public it showed that in private they were too, that’s the reason they missed each other, it’s a sad experience. On top of all the hard work, sacrifices, economic struggles, criticism, separated from their families, and the strict program they had to follow, having to deny themselves the right to love and be loved it breaks my heart, now as adults they don’t need to listen or care what other people think. We want them to be happy, we will always cheer for them 💜💜💜💜

Much respect and love for all of BTS. They have had great success but also many challenges. Wishing them many more successful years in their BTS life and their personal life. As a Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma, I watch my Family struggle with choices, finding their identity, hoping for them they live with joy and at the end of their lives, have few regrets. I feel very Blessed to say (and lucky), that in these later years of my life (73), I’ve had much joy, some sadness and very few regrets. This video is very well done, gives insight into some of their fear of being accepted for being who they are and as public celebrities. Thank you. Blessings to BTS and to you all. Stay healthy and waiting for the day to see these accomplished, talented artists on stage in person. (Hurry, I’m old). I will always cheer for them as a great team and as wonderful individuals, best wishes always.

I wish I had known you last year, I had an extra ticket to PTD LA D2 (the one showing on DisneyPlus ! I ended up meeting up with an army I met on Twitter but I would have taken you! I was so happy I got to see them and I hope I get that chance again!

I became an Army because of Love Yourself: Tear in 2018 when I was at my worst facing suicide attempts and severe mental illnesses. When I first saw Fake Love MV on the day after I was released from asylum, Tae has grown so much and handsome, I was shocked because I was the same age as him but at the same time I felt inferior having no achievements in my life. I was mentally incapable to do anything. Watching him in the mv, I greeted him and whispered, "it's been a while..how are 7 of you, especially you?" My body was frail and weak.. Every night, I listened to the album over and over, feeling cold and teary with The Truth Untold, because I wish I was the person in the lyrics of someone who truly loves me out there. I never fangirl with any of the members but Tae always came to my mind some days. I didn't know why. It's weird but life goes on for me. I'm just 24 days older than him. 2 years later, I left the fandom because I made a comment about no exemption of military enlistment for BTS on social media. My comment went viral in one night and I was attacked, insulted and mocked by thousands of ARMY just because of that, accusing me that I wasn't a real ARMY. My comment was pinned and liked by thousands too. I left. Any news related to BTS wasn't my concern. 2 years later, I came back for Jungkook. They were already at Grammys. The most chaotic phase stuck between ARMY and media. My first question was, "do you need my help?" Yes, I became stronger and awakened. It's been a while, Kim Taehyung. One night, Stay Alive rang my third eye.

Ich bin auch die ältere Generation mit 54 Jahren und komme aus Deutschland und mag bts sehr mit ihren Songs. Ich selbst bin mit music aufgewachsen und werde es irgendwann mit ins Grab nehmen. Aber was ich mir wünschen würde, dass diese zwei Jungs (taekook) ihre Liebe so genießen können wie sie sich das wünschen. Ich hoffe für die beiden, dass sie die Kraft haben. I'm an infant Taekook. I have zero knowledge about Jungkook and Taehyung mushy world. I'm starting to like BTS now because of Taekook. To tell you honestly, I have a slight repugnance towards BTS because they outshined every artist that I like. But after discovering about Taekook, it change the trajectory and now I am proud to say that I'm a freshman ARMY. I'm still learning how BTS comes into life. And here I am instead of finding out how they started, I stumbled upon this video that tackles their predicament, hardship, and their lowest point of life. I feel sad because I have so many things that I need to learn about them. As a matter of fact, I'm behind on their history. After watching the video, it gives me so much pain that they're almost reconsidering disbandment. It causes heartache to each of them and it effectuates the better of me. but in the end, they choose to be happy and get back up again. I'm beyond proud of how far they've journeyed. Being transparent when it comes to emotion is not as easy as falling off a log. It takes courage to unveil vulnerability. I'm tremendously happy for each of them.

I am a grandmother of 2 boys too. And a true supporter of Taekook. They are the heart of BTS for real. And I do know this topic is a sensitive one but I feel let everyone be who they choose to be. I pray for their including the other 5 members good health and long life. These boys are wonderful ,talented, caring, very grounded, and very generous young men( bts). Rather than selecting a shirt to wear for the day, we gays do not choose our sexual orientation. The HYBE video for DNA says it all. So we do our best in our environments, whatever they are. Unfortunately for TaeKook, their country's culture does not embrace gay citizens - so they have to deal with doubts of self-worth, their place in their unwelcoming society, and whether they are worthy of [anyone's] love. Many straight people always face those issues - I wish no one would. What is a bit taxing is the public scorn cast over homosexuals by our cultures (I'm in the U.S.). Millions of people worldwide love them, but TK must wonder if the love is derived from their professional or personal selves. And we've arrived at Suga's point, as described by JK, about separating personal JK from professional JK. Today is 12/13/2022 - thus far, since the initiation of the hiatus, the members performing individually identify themselves as "J-Hope of BTS," "RM of BTS," and recently, in Qatar, "Jungkook of BTS." Encouraging. Jin entered the military yesterday, U.S. time. The Korean military may send him home - he must have entered the camp stooped over - from all the love we've sent him.😉 What better place to insert a "Dad joke?" I am a grandma Army & Taekooker also. As older people, I think our life experiences have taught us to always look after ourselves to achieve our happiness & embrace the sorrows with the happiness on that journey of self awareness. We also recognize a great destined pure love when we see it & it is true that love is blind. True love knows no color, no gender, no anything, just what is in the heart & soul. I have seen many videos about 2018 situation with incorrect translations & perspectives depending upon personal bias. Your video is like a documentary. Your edits are outstanding & I love that u kept ur personal bias out of it, gave facts & leave a viewer to interpret as they are. Most accurate & informative video I've seen of Taekook during & leading up to that particular year. I had conjectured much, but your video has made everything so clear. Descubrí a BTS hace poco pero quede maravillada con ellos , sobre todo como personas y me puse a querer saber mas sobre cada uno y vi por aquí a un Tae diciendo por 2013 que salió con muchas chicas y a un JK diciendo que el tipo de mujer que le gustaba era alguien como IU y luego veo un día un video a donde Tae le da un beso en la oreja a JK y otro en la nuca en el medio de un show y no puedo no pensar que al menos hay una atracción y mas. Cuanta presión deben haber tenido que soportar además de todo lo que a ellos les estaría pasando interiormente , tan jóvenes , como no van a entrar en depresión!!! Han tenido la suerte de contar con el grupo de hermanos que los cuidaron y apoyaron en su peor momento y verlos levantarse y ser fieles a sus sentimientos porque claramente luego de esta situación oscura que vivieron , se mostraron sin tapujos . La letra de ese clip no puede ser mas obvia , me estremeció , es asombroso ver después de 10 años que lo que tienen es tan fuerte e indestructible , espero que lo cuiden mucho y que la vida les de mucha salud y felicidad. Thank you for this, I always kept repeating this one when I have queries on my mind about TK, the saying that "love and career cannot be done as the same time" applies to them, but thankfully Suga and the members was there to support them, Suga's advices and words, even RM played a lot in Taekook keeping their love dispite that tormentous days, I cried a lot for Tae, it must have been so hard on him that he gave up but Jk's love for him didn't, I really love that song Only Then, it says a lot

I'm 43 and I'm a Taekook supporter. I always felt so sorry for this kids, among others young celebrities. They struggles so much with so many things in life and also have been push to pretend that they are perfect. Its to much for young people who are trying to find themeself. So many want them to came out. But for some of us its ok finding love in their own sex, but where they come from its so difficult and much more now that they are so famous. Personaly, I dont need to know more that I should of their private life. Enough with all the moments that sometimes I feel ashemmed of they been caught. I want them safe, happy and living step by step. I see them making a path for others to walk. Honestly, I just want them, all 7 , to find peace in their minds and honest love around them. Work its work, but at the end of the day, or journey, everybody need a place to call home!!!!

Wow this was excellently executed quite nicely! Jungkook heart is expressed so beautifully thru the lyrics of his songs. Whether it Taehyung being the person-well they only know/ & the people closest to them. Either way, it’s got to be the best continuation of love letters we all are blessed to be witness to! Each song is so vulnerable “only then” “ all of my life” “my time” my gosh he is talented! Being loved by him got to be so special, it’s like, is in awe of his lover❤ it’s no doubt Jungkook is being truly loved deeply in order for him to express this amount of amazing music about it.

No sabemos con certeza si son pareja, viven en casas separadas y aun siguen enviandolos con otros falsos barcos sin fundamento que no son nada comparado con todo lo que ellos han vivido a través de los años. I really feel that except for suga tae didn't get support until jungkook was involved . It looks like jungkook forced everybody to accept their love and to look at taehyung with much consideration. I feel sad for them both but tae must been the most hurt and lonely 😥💜

It explains a lot, broke my heart. I have often wondered about them starting to young and what they must be going through now. They are blessed to have great friends in each other. And fans that do care

I've always read and watched their hardships in the spotlight and by watching that I respected them more and more and accept and love them more and more but watching this makes my heart drops it aches me.. As a person who has feelings, as a person that experienced problems in life. Seeing a group like them aches me because I feel like someone can understand me as I understand them.. thank you for this video, it touched my heart so much, during the lockdown it is only Taekook that gave me strength to feel alive again, everyone goes to a difficult phase of life, and idol is no exception, just my thoughts, Jk couldn't handle the fame and puberty he was going thru, while Taetae had acceptance of what was he going thru, and of course with the help of their bandmates, and being transparent to each other, I think Jk was just being stubborn and in denial at the phase is his life, and maybe pride too.

They surely went through a lot. I think Jk had a really hard time living a double life and felt that it was wrong to “lie” to people until he came to terms that he shouldn’t feel bad about it. I guess he felt overwhelmed & lost with everything that was going on in his life. Tae most probably already knew about his identity before becoming famous so he dealt with it in a different way, more in touch with reality. So glad they have such good people with them.

Seeing this makes me sad. Idk how these 2 guys navigate everything that’s thrown their way. I’m glad the other 5 members were there to support the youngest 2. Yes, we all know JK was the youngest of them all, but I never really stopped to think what hardships were going thru his head and heart during those formative years. We seem to forget mom and dad were not there to guide him during those difficult growing pains time. And he had to rely on his members. He said it himself: I started feeling new things….and he didn’t really know how to handle those new feelings. Poor baby, I wish we could have given him some hugs back then. As for Tae, his innocence speaks volumes. He too was very young and super sensitive. I guess they relied on each other and each member. Why would RM write Singularity for Tae after reading that book about the mask? I guess he was wayyyy better informed than we certainly were. I just hope these 2 souls are happy today, in whatever they choose to do, disclose, etc… they deserve happiness. All 7 of them do. I guess this is why I cried my eyes out while watching this year’s Festa. Witnessing them ask, basically for our permission , to take a break , just to be themselves, was heartbreaking for me, as I’m sure for every ARMY that watched it. Be happy BTS. We love you 💜💜

I cannot thank you enough for all the effort that you're putting into making all these videos and timeline. It takes courage and faith to support them. I'm seriously enthralled by their love story and I consider ourselves fortunate as to be able to witness their beautiful love story. It gives me pain seeing all that they had to go through, but I'm grateful that they fought together to reach a postion like now where I believe they're confident about themselves and their relationship. What a relief they are 7 and they have each other.

I am a recent fan and saw the 2018 speech, I love Taekook and fully understand now because of this video. I see the other sides of Jungkook from this video. We always see and consider him as a baby because we stuck on his innocent and cute face and his young age. It's found out he's also a contemplated boy who has deep thoughts of life, mature enough for his age, and is able to articulate his thoughts very well. My baby bunny is definitely a special boy. Follow your heart and fight for your happiness with someone you love.

Ive been a Taekooker for a long time but tried to avoid social media because i found it to be too toxic for my liking.. so glad i stumbled upon your channel your video was beautiful and stuck to the truth and i appreciate that soo much. These guy's have dealt with soo much and i feel like ive been through every emotion with them. So glad that no matter what they have fought for what is important to them & that is clearly each other.. ive been married for 17 years and still have never seen a bond and a pure love like these 2. Thank you for your video and i pray Jungkook & Tae can continue building this love and never let anything or anyone come in between it. I truly hope they can be sincerely happy no matter what 🤟💚💜

I may have been late seing this,i may have been late in becoming an Army like you guys... but by being able to understand all these, (thanks to you)- i was able to understand so much. I have never felt so much love between two people, tae&jk. And between 7 very goodfriends. I cried- i just felt all their pains,struggles. Love is the most powerful of all. Your cover proved it. Fantastic 👏👏👏. Absolutely phenomenal job here. I could have watched another hour and still wanted more. Really nice editing (even the copyright edits were nice) and excellent pacing. Going into just enough detail on each subject to give a solid understanding, without overloading the viewer with facts and figures, and still managing to prove your points. Hats off to you 🎩

I believe in giving credit where it's due, and being a long time Taekooker I've seen everything of what's usually on offer in regards to analysis vids etc. and yours was most definitely a breath of fresh air. I'd imagine your copyright struggle would have been intense 😬. All those clips from their docu-series. But it was very well done in the end. Thanks so much for your hard work!

I must admit some fan content doesn’t give us tkkers a good reputation per se 😅 Somehow here I am today trying to contribute a little bit. Let’s see where it goes! @@Taeggukstime OoooOooOoooh early days army!! Jealous! Ive been an army since 2016. I was army first then found TK a few weeks into stanning 😁. Never looked back really. Yes Taekookers have managed to shoot themselves in the foot at times. We get too excited and destroy our own credibility 🙄. It's great when people like you two come along with the timeline and claw back some credibility and fact - based evidence. Can't wait for your next vid!
