It's kinda crazy to how this is the same band that wrote "vomit for a mind, maggots for a cock" (I love all their albums btw). This was a great analysis!

@@VARVIS_ Hell yeah! I showed one of my non-metalhead friends Human and he is now into death metal.
We all have a scavenger in our own lifes, somebody that inflict pain and suffering on to you, somebody that makes you feel worthless and thinks they are always right. Also amazing video, you should have more subscribers.
I first discovered Death when I was 15, almost 10 years now, and I was blown away. It was my first death metal band, and when it clicked.. oh boy. Symbolic has always been my favorite album by them, but as the years go by, I find myself returning more and more to The Sound Of Perseverance, and I think is my favorite one now. It surely is Chuck's most mature and complex offering ever at the very least...

I’m 15 and recently found death and I absolutely love individual thought patterns and human I think this is a big coincidence haha
First track on a legendary record. One of my true favorites, especially with the beginning.
Yo these deep dives have been awesome but can you do more on other albums like symbolic. (ik these vids take a lot of work but just a suggestion)
One of my favorites! The drums, the ferocity of the guitars, and omg when Chuck screams “WHAT PAIN, WILL IT TAKE, TO SATISFY, YOUR, SICK, APPETITE, GOING FOR THE KILLLLL” omg such a great sounding record.
fucking LOVE your videos dude, especially about Death
These Death analysis videos are absolutely fantastic!!
The time of this song is just... beautiful. The drumming, the quality, tempos, time signatures, it's like popping red lights in a black space. It's crazy.

Thanks so much man!
Death is amazing. A band that was completely finished about a year before I was even born but one of the greatest I've discovered. Music I'd refer to as "The Real Deal" . Great analysis
Christy is an octopus
I used to think the whole album was a metaphor for his battle with cancer. But it was written well before he got sick. Still it does fit well when viewed in that context ❤

Yeah I agree. I always kinda viewed it the same way. It is almost clairvoyant in a way. Truly just what an amazing artist Chuck was.
I love every video of your analysing songs, please keep going, love and greetings from India! 🤘

Such an amazing storytelling in a song. I don't like the fact that it has no transitions between riffs particularly in that album. But maybe he wanted to transmite a beautiful caos. Anyway, scarveger of human sorrow is a great piece of art

*Death's SEVENTH and last album. Slight fact-check aside, great analysis! Are you planning on delving into Chuck's Control Denied material as well?

Thanks man! Cant believe i messed that up 😂 I do! I saw a comment on a video that said the guy believed that TSOP, the fragile art of exitstence and the follow up to it were intended to be a 3 part concept album. So i may look into that, but I also plan on deep diving on the songs. Cheers man!
Isn't that what Lisa said to Bart?
