I disagree. It’s not necessarily a double standard. I understand where you’re coming from, but there’s a huge difference between someone just repping out in a normal exercise (especially when they’re on a machine) versus seeing someone do full planche or handstand push ups or any other calisthenics skills. That’s not something you see every day and is thus impressive to many people, which is why they feel the need to record it.

@@gabriel08607 On the other hand there is a similarity regarding "showing off". It is one thing, doing a regular workout and then being stared at or filmed. It's different if the person goes shirtless in public doing stuff with the obvious intention of being looked at. The initial purpose matters. Same with the girls who go to gym, bringing a whole production studio with them and then pretend to wonder why people look at them. Though the girls get their needs fulfilled by pretending to be a victim, while the boys fulfill their needs by... well, showing off and trying to the most alpha they can squeeze out of themself. So.. it's similar, yet different. Thus I agree with you.

Why is it ridiculous? Does it offend you or something? Public space, they can do whatever they want as long as it's not harming anyone or against law.
