SCARIEST DESCENT | BUJUMBURA, BURUNDI | KIRIRI TO ROHERO | CYCLING IN THE CITY (SE01E08)
From the top of the hill at Campus college in Kiriri all the way down to Rohero. In this video I am racing down the only two hills in Kiriri as a reward for the climb I endured. Bujumbura can make you work hard in some places, but the reward is x3 better once the mission is accomplished. It was allot of fun.

I’m really enjoying what you’re doing with this channel, man! I’m in California with no connection to Burundi whatsoever, but it’s totally fascinating to do these rides through your eyes and get a glimpse of a part of the world I knew nothing about. It’s really nice to see neighborhoods and daily life outside of the usual narrative we get here regarding Africa (and Burundi in particular).

Oh, by the way, bujumbura is the city and Burundi the country. We're not ravaged by war. We might have a few instances of instability for a time towards and after presidential elections. But that's usually about all that happens! For the reminder of of the 5yrs, it's serene.
