Genius! One of my all time fave acoustic guitar parts - never thought I'd crack it, and have been playing ordinary chords for 40 odd years! Thanks so much Rob for sharing your talent and your time. Added bonus of being able to move capo down to where I can actually sing as opposed to trying to match the matchless Art G. Whether I can sing and play together is another issue 🙂

Thank you! This is such a beautiful song and the way you teach it by combining the video and the ingenious charts makes it as easy and clear as can be.

Hi Rob, Thank you for sharing your incredible talent… I’ve been playing professionally my entire life and at the age of 70 now… I’ve always tried to be as close to the original as possible but I was never able to quite grasp it… I truly think that you will be responsible for a great generation of guitarists because of your talent and technique… they say that you can’t teach a old dog new tricks well guess what…… that’s wrong!!! Thank you Rob

Beautiful Rob and yes you are! Love 💕 this song. Can you please add the lyrics to the chord sheets? It will help me navigate through the song better since i’m playing oh so slowly, I lose where I am with the words most times. Thank you!

Hey there Brother, Been watching your channel and relearning some of those old songs I learned as a kid. Funny how mine sounds like the record but we sometimes play them differently. Never learned to read… not even tabs. But that seems to be important to me now. So thanks for the super simple grid and tabs for me to associate them. Played by ear all these years. Not a huge problem but now I find myself wanting to play songs that I had a hard time tackling like for instance, “Martha my dear” finger style. I get started on it but then… It’s really tricky and syncopated. Think you would be up to that one? Thanks again And keep’m com’n

It would be so helpful if you opened your tutorials by playing the song in its entirety before the lesson begins. Most guitar song tutorials begin this way. Just some constructive criticism.

I do demos (tasters) of the songs before I record the tutorials. It gives me an idea of the interest in that particular track and keeps the tutorial vid to a reasonable length. Many listeners get bored listening to the entire song, they just want to know how to play it. 👍🏻

Good lesson, but introduce the video with zero chat, and just play half a minute of the song, with all relevant parts, so people can tell if you have a version they want to learn. It took 5 minutes until you actually played a passage of the song.👍
