I recorded this guitar accompaniment last night of 'Scarborough Fair' for any vocalists out there who may wish to sing this beautiful Simon & Garfunkel tune. It's recorded freely without a metronome as Paul would have played it live on stage to Art's angelic vocals. I played this on my Gibson DCM-QE Acoustic Guitar into a Rode NT2 Microphone. I recorded one guitar part into the left channel and then played the same part again this time recording on the right channel. I then panned hard left and right to create a thicker wider sound. this is my thinking? Ken makes it seem so easy and without vocals adds a good practice for those who want to learn guitar by sound without having other distractions like vocals in the way. AWESOME WORK

Hi Ken - super backing track - this would work well for a guitarist lead I'll have to remember that !! Just come back from Scarborough - a 3 day weekend of guitar music - now loads of video's to upload :-( I love it really... Cheers Phil
