Lolol they would really be offended if they seen my transactions. My hobbies consist of video games & food. 😂 I put a percentage of my checks into my savings. What I have leftover after bills & the important stuff, I buy food. 🤦🏽‍♀️ I don't even wanna calculate the amount I've spent on Doordash in the last few weeks. I justify it because, tbh food is the only thing that I really "splurge" on. I try to be responsible with my finances, I put close to 50% of my paychecks in our savings. My fiance puts 60% in savings, also. The rest we put in checking. We pay the bills and then I buy food 😂 the one thing my fiance will splurge on is the dispensary. I'm sure the bank employees laugh at our transaction sheet. Dispensary, doordash, and utilities. 🤦🏽‍♀️

I've been ping-ponging around between newer and older Kitboga uploads, and I can definately say that scammers in older videos were a lot less aggressive, confrontational and mean. Scambaiters have *definitely* had an impact on these people, and it's great!

One of the highlights of a Kitboga video is when the character is so hard to deal with that the scammer asks for the husband/wife, who in turn is even harder to deal with.

This is one of the funniest videos I've seen in awhile. The editing, the scammers cackling and getting super offended, to everything Kit says. I'm literally in tears writing this... "I love you Pete!..." "I... I love you too 😃"

I might have a theory for that. These scam center workers also have food delivery side gigs, or know someone who does it. So attacking food ordering makes them think they are being attacked.

I think my favorite part is after she has redeemed the cards she asks them to say Thank You. Something so rewarding about it.

i watch a few of these scam baiters, and one of them speaks hindi and punjabi. i have learned a few insulting phrases and swear words in both languages now which I have used more than once with a few scam calls. It's made me want to learn both languages for real and become a scam baiter myself. Considering so many legitimate customer service call centers are based in countries that speak either language and often those are horrible experiences just because of the language barrier I feel that it would be a win win.

How wholesome is Kitboga? So wholesome his idea of a great prank is telling someone he loves them so that they'll say it back. You can't more wholesome than that.

For a long time I wondered why the scammers never try to redeem the cards quicker than the victim could - since the codes are right there on the screen. I think it’s because the scammers make their money by selling UNredeemed cards/codes, since that’s less risky than putting the money into a Google Play account, which could be shut down or traced. Per @Nissan Skyline that also means that if you ever find out your grandma etc. got scammed this way, you should always try to redeem the cards anyway as fast as you can, since you might be faster than the scammers - though I’m sure they don’t wait too long!

That's basically the gist of it. Their goal is to monetize the gift cards by trading them for bitcoin, and then converting the bitcoin into cash. The primary service they use to do this is Paxful, which is a US-based peer-to-peer marketplace that allows users to buy bitcoin from other users using hundreds of different payment methods, including dozens of different types of gift cards. The most common gift cards traded on Paxful are Target, Wal-Mart, iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, and Steam Wallet. Paxful is a legitimate website that has a zero tolerance policy against fraud, but gift card laundering continues to be a major issue for them since it's extremely difficult to prove the validity of gift cards, especially gift card codes as it’s not possible to check the balance until the cards are redeemed. One of the steps they've taken to try and deter scammers from laundering illicit gift cards is raising their service fees for specific cards, like Amazon, Target and iTunes. The exchange rate is also really high, so sellers (and scammers) take a significant hit when trading gift cards on Paxful. For example, most iTunes gift cards are traded at 40 to 80 cents on the dollar. Once a scammer has exchanged their bitcoin and the buyer’s funds are in their bank account, the process of converting the gift cards into cash is complete. The entire process, from receipt of the gift card code to transferring cash into a bank account, is fairly quick. In one case, a woman was tricked into sending $1,800 in iTunes gift cards and the scammers were able to convert the card value into $700 cash in less than two and a half hours.

I heard about his mom/grandmother being scamed, too. Dosent matter why you waste scamer's time IMO, but there are some vids where Kit seems really upset, and that it makes sense.

The way the characters just go off on a tangent and Kit is able to just keep going and going with it... it's almost like he actually has a little old person inside of him

As much as these scammers are complete scumbags, this scammer was actually pretty funny. In many cases that's worse though because they're better at scamming people.
