Just got a call from Southern California Edison (I live in NorCal). He told me I owed $371.24 and if I didn’t pay by phone in the next 20 minutes, my power would be turned off, and it would take another $250 for reconnect fee. I told him I would gladly pay the whole thing. Including the $250. In 20 minutes. When my power went out. So he agreed to wait with me. While waiting, I started singing... IF you want my money AND you think I’m stupid, Go ahead and wait and see If you’re such an idiot JUST sit there and listen, You won’t ge a cent from me... He hung up. Guess he wasn’t a Rod Stewart fan...

This happened to my mother this morning. The money she lost is forcing her to make life threatening adjustments in her budget. I'm sick about the utter and complete lack of recourse to a scam that is years old. There's literally nothing that could be done only two hours after my mother was scammed.

I work with senior citizens . I was speaking to an elderly woman and I was telling her about you. I pulled up one of your videos to play after we watched your video together then the phone rang. She answered it. The caller had an Indian accent and was talking about her Social security . She said to the caller never call her again ! Good job Pierogi 👏

Years ago I had gotten one on my email. I did not call the number they give you to call if you did not make the purchase. What I did was get the real AMAZON's number and they verified it was not charged to my account. So check with your bank or the store, where ever they say you purchased something you know you didn't and call the direct number to them, not the one they tell you to call.

I'm loving the evolution of going from talking to them and wasting loads of their time, to flat out getting their accounts banned and making it incredibly difficult to scam and exposing who they are lol

It is so satisfying to see scammers being brought down. I started watching when the first generation glitter bomb was deployed, and that was funny. Stealing a package from someone's porch is bad, but stealing someone's retirement fund is disgusting. Your work is much admired and appreciated!

@@magalielaique8628 the problem here is that they do not commit crimes against the citizen in the same country so the authorities don't even know of the offense, like if someone sitting in peru hires a hitman to kill someone in austria what can the the peru government would never know of the crime.. and austian govt. cant do anything untill they contact the peru govt... but they wont cause its not causing a threat to international security...... these scammers cant be caught unless interpol is involved

I was scammed on 11/21/23. They took $4000 from 2 accounts. Thanx for your video. I am glad you were able to catch the culprits. Thanx again and Almighty richest blessings.

I work at a bank. Our clients always received a lot of phone calls or even messages that is asking for their bank information and when our clients provided their infos then the scammers charges clients really huge one. This is really helpful not just for me but to our clients too.

The info you give on how scams work there in the US helped me not letting my grandmother getting scammed here in Brazil. Thanks Pierogi❤️

The FBI handles scammers all the time. I started receiving emails from a scammer claiming to be with the Treasury Dept. So I forwarded it to the real FBI (you can get that info on their website). Within about six months I got a letter from them stating the guy had been arrested. They sent out hundreds of the same letter to anyone who had received his scam emails. The letter contained case number, the guys name, etc. I was able to verify all of it. My point is that the government does help with scammers, but they can only handle so much.

If our goverment had stricter laws on VoIP, the majority of these scams would disappear. I encourage you to contact your representative as well as educating others... and when you have the time, troll a scammer when they call. The time you take with them could just save a real victim.

We are elderly..our land line gets at least 3 calls a day..only reason we keep the line is in case of bad storms. We don't pick up..being on the west coast of Canada..we get calls from all over both Canada and the US. The worst is the visa scam..relentless. I pray you get to bite onto this mess, it truly disturbs our peace.
