I used to work at a Hechinger store (east coast chain like home Depot) and some guy was able to slide off the security banding on a 1/2" pneumatic impact gun and replace the contents with some used brake pads! I'm not even sure how long they sat on the shelf before it was discovered! After that we had to open all tool boxes open or not to check for the correct insides.

Great insight on boxes and your resourcefulness is refreshing to see. Whoever comes up with a more cost effective and environmentally friendly solution for packaging is going to become very rich.

She's a junk collector. Try's to come across like a sweet old lady. But she's nothing more than a liar and a thief. That box of paper sure was a good trick. She laid awake at night thinking about that one.

This was so cringey and hard to watch. You have to have serious balls to come into a store and get caught scamming but continue to try a new scam after each one is shut down.

Either today was her first attempt or she's still doing it because it's worked for her in the past. It's sad that it works on people sometimes. Kinda like how people roll out of the grocery store with items on the bottom of their cart, they never look back.

It's amazing to think that she thought Peter wasn't going to open the box and look at it before handing over money. Ladies and gentlemen we're seeing the worst scammer in history

Not really... It's not like she's decided to just go to this one shop and try to scam him alone. She'll know there's more chance the box will be checked than not checked. She'll be waiting for that one time either a shop clerk or some poor sod on the street decides to take her word. Scammers are persistent SOBs unfortunately.
