4070 costs 550. 5070 will not be much higher cause nvidia had shit sales on the 40 series. They're gonna do the same thing as they did with the 30 series after the horrible launch and pricing of the 20 series.

@@martinsonneborn6820 AMD & Intel are still wayyy behind Nvidia, and the argument of VRAM is partially wrong. Most of the times it's useless to have 16GB when you're playing with a mid range GPU designed for 1080p.

The real joke: Thinking NVIDIA will have new GPUs available in decent amounts at affordable prices whilst AI cards have backlogs of many many months. Reality is probably $900 RTX 5070 - with 8GB so it can't be used for AI purposes.

I would not count on that 4090 will cost half. I want 5090 but I am worried that they will increase price according to performance, not that they would give 2x performance for the same price of previous flagship, this is not how Nvidia operates now. Nvidia will do shenanigans to maximize profits, 8GB cards, small performance increases, etc.

8000 is the next AMD GPUS gen. Considering how the rumors are that AMD will focus on making their next gen cheaper and more efficient rather than trying to compete with Nvidia, so there'd be barely any performance uplift, I think they might be banking on the scalpers going solely after Nvidia.

Buying a 4090 its like spending all your money buying a Ferrari and you can´t afford to pay its maintenance. Electricity and compatible PC components like (XL CASE, better ram speeds, above average cpu, new motheboard, new psu etc) to take full advantage of a 4090 and don´t forget to have a 4K 144hz monitor just in case.
