Great video with useful tech tips. As far as I'm aware, Bluetooth headset devices won't be allowed for security of the exam.

Yep or a second WiFi/hardwire system if possible

My experience of using laptop for pilot SCA was not good with laptop. We are so used to big screen/monitor that on laptop it was hard to do video consultation. Rest of the tips are really useful. use of webcam, headsets all are handy to do video consults and for exam.

Adapting to a laptop may be tricky give screen size change. But for many if there are connectivity issues, placement issues,moving a laptop is far easier than a desktop setting. You can connect an external monitor to most laptops which would be a good compromise.

Prior to actual exam there is a onboarding session to test the logistics. So it’s worth trying the things you suggested during onboarding. Yes connecting laptop to monitor is something I feel worth considering.

We are not allowed to use a wireless headset.

Curious to know why you say that. The guidance from RCGP does state can use an external headset and/or microphone. No comments that it can't be wireless.
