I purchased the Logitech c920e and on my old computer that had Windows 10, it was able to record in 1080p with no problem. Now I have a new upgraded computer by the same brand, that has Windows 11 on it and for some reason, when I try and set up the "Resolution / FPS Type" to Custom, it does not give me the 1080p option for resolution. The highest I can get is 640 x 360. I've tried everything I've seen on KZread to no avail. Any suggestions you may have would be very helpful. Thanks.

Another issue is logi brio also have different versions(and in totally different boxes). It's so crazy that logi really makes its efforts to make consumers confused

When I plug it in the computer and Logitune identify it as C920. Model is VU0060. I literally don't know how to feel right now lol

Where did you order it from? If it was Amazon and it didn't say shipped by and sold from Amazon, I'd talk to them to say they sent over the wrong version. There are a lot of suspect sellers/resellers online, so if you are able to return it, I'd try to get one either from Logitech's website directly or shipped by + sold by Amazon.

I thought c920s and c920e had better colors before you said they were red. perhaps I prefer warmer colors and that's why I liked them over the first two

Nothing wrong with preferring the color temp to be warmer. Just be aware that it's going to be off from what you see irl.

I also like the redder colours. It could be the calibration, or maybe one sensor wasn't available and they swapped if for another - this is common for GPUs, eg, the GT1030 came out with DDR5 but they swapped it to DDR4 without telling anybody, which is made it an inferior GPU -.

@@wormycoolness No model number on it. The legs are plastic, but the main body (everything silver colored) is metal. It doesn't really hold that much weight especially if the device is front-heavy, but it holds up all my webcams and my Sony ZV-1. It's 4.5 inches tall.

Hey, have you ever tested the Trust Taxon 2k QHD? It costs a few € less than the logitech c920s here in Germany. I was wondering since it also has 30 fps but with a 2k resolution. Thanks in advance, good videos.

Haven't tried it. I skimmed a few reviews on KZread through and it actually looks pretty sharp. I can't recommend it without trying it myself, but it looks good. I would buy one to review, but I just exhausted my November product budget yesterday .-.

Any webcam that's called the Logitech Brio, Logitech 4K Pro Webcam, or anything along those lines is the same device. They just keep rebranding it.

@@northernmonkeyzuk I'm not really familiar with the specs on older (or even newer) Macs, but based on my experience: As long as you have a CPU around the Ryzen 5 3600 specs (6 core, 3.6 GHz) and any dedicated graphics card, you should be good. That's what I have. If it's weaker than that, I'd just get one of the C920 models for now. My old laptop was a quad core (2.4 GHz) with a GTX 960M and it couldn't handle 4K at all. So it wasn't worth it.

@@northernmonkeyzuk If they're the same price, the C930. It has the same basic specs as the C920 models but with better colors and a wider field of view. It's nice for video conferencing since it won't be zoomed in too much on your face. For tutorials or anything else, the improved colors are just a bonus. My C930 cost way more than these when I got it, so if you can find it for a comparable price to these that's a great deal.

Yeah none of the Logitech webcams save their settings (at least most of the settings) to the device. A few recent devices like the Kiyo Pro save to the device's memory itself, but most webcams don't.

Best I've ever tried is the Sony WH-1000XM4. Amazing clarity for vocals, good instrument separation, and bass is clean... But I don't own it, only got to try it for a day. Probably will buy it in the next batch. Best one I own, Astro A40 - just bought it a few days ago. Currently working on content for it now. It's better for music than the HyperX Cloud II and Alpha. Only shortcoming is you have to mess with EQ a bit for FPS games. The upper mids are suppressed. For mics if you mean headset mics only, I think the Logitech G Pro X, but it's still not that good compared to a $30 dedicated mic. But stand-alone mic, best I've tried is the Shure SM7b and best I own is probably Samson Q2U or Razer Seiren Elite. (Elite has issues though)

I just lost the c920 I had in a fire. I got that thing for $30 Canadian dollars… now I’m having a tough time finding anything for $60! Might go with the C920x

Perfect. I have an older C920 and was gifted a C920X. Since my C920 was the older version, it is model V00028. The new C920X, model VU0060, gives me truer color as well. The older one was good, the new one is better. Thanks for going back in history to the older C920 - made all the difference in the review for me.

I just got the Logitech C920e. The model number is VU0062.
