What Sayu suffered set the precedent for the Ninisanji character assassination. They tried it again earlier this year, and the only reason they failed was because the dragon had time to grow big enough. Who knows what will happen when they try it again.

100% I've been saying this for months. The only reason they even tried it with Selen was because it worked so well the first time and they essentially got away with it. In saying that, had they not tried it with Selen, Sayu would still be getting treated like public enemy number one.

PTSD, good freaking Lord. I knew the aftermath or everything Sayu had to go through was bad but this just reminds me of how much she had to go through to not only let us know her side of the story but for the curtains to fall when it comes to how we view not just THAT company but VTubing companies in general. I pray that one day she will one day heal enough to be able to walk about with her head held high and her shoulders unburdened by her past. It may take a long time for her to fully heal but hopefully her community will be there to help her out.

The worst part about it was that people sadly bought the lie niji made about her including me. I feel so bad for what she endured here. She definitely did not deserve it here. Good upload. I wasn't watching vTubers when all that shit went down, but even I can tell how important it is for people to understand Zaion did nothing wrong. The "mistakes" she made were nothing-burgers, barely even worth a slap on the wrist. Yet Kurosanji opted to blow things out of proportion and terminate her, and people ate it all up and cast her out. All she wanted was to make friends and make people happy.

And even if the mistakes she made are against your moral code or you don’t like her as a person, she’s still a victim and didn’t deserve what happened to her. As shitty as some of the remarks she made were, she was unfairly treated

I hope she can find closure and move on to bigger and better things. I myself lived in the past for a lifetime and it did not get any better. Just keep moving forward.

I'm still watching the original video. I kept stopping anticipating Kotoka and Hex clips and just couldn't push through and had to pause and go back to it later and drop out again. Reached the Kotoka part today and had to take a break again after first of two clips. It just hurts too much. It IS a really good video however, I strongly recommend everyone to watch it. The best analysis of those event imo, based on what I've seen (70% of it as of today).

I understand Sayu's situation from Before and After. All the pain of being backstabbing and being betrayal that are you're friends really hurts. Even though i haven't know her from the very beginning, but i understand it all. All of us make mistakes once in awhile, after all we're human. I hope someday, Sayu can move on from her past and maybe reconciled to everyone

5:06 Oh man, now that's symbolic imagery right ther- 5:10 "WEE!" It's hard to say if she'll ever fully recover, and I really hope she does, but I'm glad she's finding friends such as Shiina and hope things only get better for her.

Sad that Sayu had to go through that and even more heartbreaking is that she had to live with that and not give thr full truth of what really happened behind the scenes. If it wasn't for Doki being fed up with Nijisanji and spoke her whole truth, Sayu possibly wouldn't have some sort of closure. Obviously the damage has been done for Sayu but at least now forgiveness is being given in light of recent news of what is going on with Kurosanii. Happy that many former Niji are far enough away from the company. And even more so happy that the stories of both Doki and Sayu are finally neing heard and taken seriously. Sayu's especially.

I just got backstabbed by a coworker in the worst worst possible. I keep thinking to myself was why didn’t talk to me about how he was feeling. Now I’m going through some legal things to clear everything up and then I’m quitting where I work because I just refuse to allow myself being backstabbed by my work place and that coworker. What Sayu went through was always bad but now that I experienced a backstabbing and something of a reputation being ruined, I relate to her a lot more. Stay strong Sayu💙💙

I hate that fate had to fuck her over before it picked her back up. But what’s done is done, Sayu. The past can’t hurt you anymore. Because, frankly enough, they’re doing that well enough to themselves.

I think Sayu's problem is that she doesn't really have anyone to lean on for emotional support. Yeah, she has people to hang out with, but how many of those would she consider actual friends, who would hear her out and comfort her when she's feeling down? If I look at other Rainbow Retirees, most of them have people to support them: Kuro, Matara, and Mika have VShojo's managers and members as support and seem to be doing better than ever now. Even Mint has Matara backing her, but you can tell that being indie is something she still has trouble adapting to. Doki seems to be a special case, but I chalk that up to having an immense network of people she can talk to and her being a workaholic, so as long as Kurosanji leaves her alone, she's happy. Sayu, though, has none of those people. Virtually none of them seem particularly interested in her, and it left her isolated and alone. And that makes it easier for the trauma to reemerge. However, the fact that she's still pushing through makes her a lot stronger than she takes herself for.

Yeah, i relate with her on that. She have tsundere innocent but stand on her own groundn personality which is abrasives for some people. I hope she keeps contacts with the Filian and reach out to others fellows Vtubers for both her channel growth and validation.

This was a bittersweet but important stream. It is incredible how mature and careful with her words Sayu is now. She carefully couched her statements even on relatively non-controversial observations such as how Dokibird's greater time to make connections as Selen likely contributed to her post-termination success, and her refusal to denounce Kotoka as a person was, in the words of the twitch chat, "Saintly."

"Why couldn't you just talk to me?" I have a better question. *Why would OR would not 'they' talk directly to me? If they want clarification they'd reach out to me. If I reached out, there's a good chance they won't let me.* I had this revelation because one of my relatives had a court case against a fellow relative that could've been solved by negotiation and talking, but dude said "Nuh uh. Wasting money it is." Something sinister brewed up already at that point. I am merely glad that Sayu is recovering from what happened to her.

To new peeps the vod being reacted to seems to have sound issues that weren't properly addressed when chat brought them up at the beginning of the stream. It doesn't seem to be muted but so low that it might as well be unless you want your ears blasted out.

I found Sayu from persona streams and I just have no clue who she’s talking about XD. It’s fine though, I’m glad she’s working through her trauma.

If you're familiar with Dokibird's exit from Nijisanji, they tried to pull that on Doki because they had previously succeeded with Sayu.

It's starting to feel real bruh so far she's the only one who didn't excitedly talks about niji stuff, kuro, Michi, mata, mint, and Quinn didn't have any sad vibes while talking about niji and selen is getting better so far she's the only one who's genuinely sad talking about it.

I wish nothing, but good things for her; I hate that she's feeling this way. This hits too close for me....I hope in time she'll be able to close that chapter so the healing can continue.

Unless she reuploads it somewhere in full, directing people to the vod isn't really helpful because she seems to have muted the armchair's audio in the vod.

Don't be surprised with humanitys repugnance, it is engraved in them. I felt sorry for matara at one point, not anymore. Letting Quinn join and not Sayu was a hint to me. It isn't the matter of Zaion's former stigma, it's more so the principle. It is what it is, and I'm supporting Sayu with what I can in hopes she gets over the wall that was built around her against her will. Damn all those that judge her, ZIEG ZAION!

To play devil’s advocate, Sayu did unintentionally out Matara’s PL thoughts about being in Niji without permission, so she could be still hurt by that. Cause while Sayu was in an emotional state, Sayu herself agrees that she was out of line revealing that info, and it’s kinda hard to trust someone for revealing something that private before it’s ready to be shared

sayu gets the bad end of the stick but i really admire her perseverance... if she became a menhera, there's phase connect

It might be fine from the channel user. But youtube bots and automation has serious issues when it comes to copyrighting people's content.

I never cared for Zaion/don't particularly care for Sayu (I find her personality pretty grating), but even I can admit what she had to go through was f'ed and it's good to see that she's handled things rather well. Obviously she's still torn over the situation but I can tell she's got quite a strong resolve, and I respect that.

Yet, another victim of a black company... ngl.. there should be documentary, about Niji's lack of ethical practices and their many victims(the talents) and to be shown to business and ethics classes.

I do hope she lets it go though.... like we get it, but you're out.... she is free and doing better, so push forward and leave those people in the rear view.... if she focuses on that she'll be fine, stop talking about it and move on. She makes it clear that even if tried this, that it won’t change the fact that she is shunned by a group of people. (I do believe those that still choose not to interact with her are now a minority, but they have a lot of sway in the industry. Thus preventing her from advancing further.)

I think it's just been harder for her because she told everyone how shitty Niji was and many of them just ignored it and acted like Zaion being terminated was "justified" despite us knowing from the document she released that it wasn't justified in any sense. I think it was also her first corpo experience and she got caught up in the idea that she was making friends and being part of the "Niji family" until they got their knives out and dug them into her back. I think she'll eventually get to where she can trust people again but depending on the person that hurt and pain can take a long time to overcome.

No I will not watch the vod sky lol
