It's summer in the rural countryside as we balance work on the off grid cabin with moving out of our milltown apartment and into the new countryside a-frame. I drive old vintage trucks, put up cedar shakes, set up a water heater, go on summer adventures and experience the most rainfall we've had in a long time.

I found you guys about a year and a half ago. I watch everything you put out. I’m an old retired guy out in Utah that you two have inspired to enjoy the quiet, slow moments of life. I don’t take anything or anyone in my life for granted. It’s a joy to watch your creativity and zest for life. God bless you and Allie. ❤️❤️❤️

Oh to be young again! Multi tasking is the best! Things are looking great! We got tons of flooding here in the Monadnock area. Which hindered our organic gardening. So Japanese knotweed is very edible and extremely nutritionist. It's better than a multi vitamins. Cut it down and when it starts to grow it looks like aparagus. Grill it with oil and salt and pepper!❤😊

Wow! One of the best Trout videos ever! Totally understand your emotions about moving out of your apt - and the defining “chapters” that end/begin. You really highlight the deep aspects of life. I sit here in my early 50s having done what you did and remember similar phases. Moving into my first Apt in Beacon Hill. Buying my first house in Newport Beach, CA and then selling that house and moving to Vermont - and I totally love your channel because of the shared respect for New England’s natural beauty.

Be patient while you kill the ants. I also suggest one part borax to two parts powdered sugar. It takes time, but if I did it, so can you. The liquid kills the ants that eat it. The powdered sugar and borax they bring back to the ants in the colony. I learned this from a person in the military. He always had ants where he moved into. Also, you must spray a parameter around the house. It truly works.

In addition... Windex to wipe up their trails so other ants don't know where to go + vacuuming the ants up (you might be able to put a flea collar or pesticide in the vacuum container + food grade diatomaceous earth (in places that are dry) can assist with pest control.

I love your Vlog! I am so happy to see this most current video - for all the changes and challenges - living life with friends and your new home in progress - and the finished shakes on the cabin, sigh - but the very best part was surfing the swelled River, it's a California thing - so cool!!! I love the way you have fun! Sending love to you both - so glad you posted today. 🙂🐦🌟🦋🌺

Kyle I am glad that you guys didn't have any major issues with the massive rain that's affecting the northeast. Hope you were able to get some downtime with better weather this weekend.

😂 I love this video. I love all of your videos. So well done, great music too. Here's to starting again from scratch. Keep chipping away Kyle, the time will come when you'll look back and see that all of that chipping created this whole extraordinary and beautiful life. ✨️
