Pros and Cons of propping that key open in the case to allow the pad to stay dry?

As long as it isn't being propped open by the pad itself and therefore putting an impression in the pad, and the particular combination of Eb keyguard + case doesn't equal damage if jostled if the Eb is open, I don't see any issues with it.
question what is the best glue to reglue a finger pearl?

Just the 6M (and 26M) as far as I am aware. I'm not sure where it starts and stops, serial wise, but it seems to be pre-war only.
