I was waiting for them to let Sam cut loose. I'm so glad he did!

And an extremely wonderful man. I toured with the band when I was a child. (my dad played in the band) Sam *REALLY* looked out for the band. Excellent wages, great working hours, all expenses paid, etc. He was a good dude.

@@jimcapone2593 Hello. His name was Richard "Dick" Griffo. (he played sax) In the early 1980s I used to spend my summer vacations with the band. They played for 2 weeks at some place in the Pocono Mountains, then the rest of the summer at Resorts International, in Atlantic City, NJ. (I stayed with my grandparents during the school year) Once I visited during Spring break. I believe they were playing at The Sands in AC. I have very fond memories of those days and Sam was always a really nice guy.

The guy and the girl weren't even snapping in time at the beginning and I'm not even talking about having the swing groove down.

The guy on piano "does't know" at 3:06, when obviously it is Art Pepper who played the alto sax solo... Bullshit american moovie.

I wonder what the name of this film is. The acting was very bad. Being a Witness to Jazz scene in the 50s in the 60s nobody I knew spoke like that.
