I moved to Vegas in 71 and didn't know a soul. Louis and Sam were in the Sands lounge and I went to see them almost every night. I got to know them all. Great memories.

I can't believe this song, just incredible

never forgotten, they bring so much joy every time i listen to Mr. Prima, Mr. Butera, Ms. Keely and Ms. Gia.

Louie's genius spans over five decades and changing with each decade while staying true to his roots, Keely, Sam Butera, and his band all shine when in the company of Louie because he's talented and extremely versatile and just alot of fun to be around.

god, I love Sam Butera. He's such a great performer.

Prima, Keely, Sam and the Witnesses... TORE UP LAS VEGAS!!!!! They were huge.. My guess is, I've watched and heard them live over 25 times!!!!..

My mom introduced me to his music when I was just 8or9 years old,lucky for me! I played it at her funeral. We walked in the 2nd line. I love you mom, and thanks again.

The very definition of "got it" and they sure did. Sam was so generous and such a skilled player. If I rubbed the lamp and got my wishes I would ask to sit in the front row at a Vegas show and just love it.

Loved the song 'Coolin'. Classy & Sassy. The song had me going, and had me on pins & needles with the mystery & suspense, until it got to the end, & it reve aled the true identity of the person behind the 'seven veils', I hardly could contain my laughter. Those fellas must have had it in bad for Mr. Ness. It was comical & a riot of a song & a number routine back then. I wasn't even around when the Louie Prima Band was around, let alone the Untouchables. In certain circles, that song rocked "The World", & must have hit a nerve of some sort or nailed others. That was a wonderful performance. EXCELLENT!!! I luved it!! m.t.lopez 🥰🤩😍🙂🤗😳😷🤓👍

Here some italian hints - the last two members of the orchestra were two "cucuzze", which is how we call the zucchini here in Italy (mainly in South of Italy) - it's a word Louis seems very attached to, see the song "My Cucuzza". The password was "pasta and fagioli", pasta and beans in Italian - another typical Italian dish!

Sure makes me wish to have been born earlier than I was!

Sam said in an interview that it looked like they were getting wild on stage but in reality they were very well rehearsed. also their live shows had to be cleaned up for recording in those. They were much more colorful onstage in Las Vegas.

If I heard this music as I approached my driveway to park, I'd back out again and go for a rid and just "cooling"! This is a jam regardless of how old the piece is...priceless...and this is not mentioning the showmanship of these musicians. Incredible talent!
