Everybody Needs Somebody to Love/Sweet Home Chicago | The Blues Brothers | Comedy Bites Vintage

Комедия

Watch The Blues Brothers give a back-to-back performance on two classic songs: Everybody Needs Somebody to Love and Sweet Home Chicago
From "The Blues Brothers": when brothers Joe and Jake Elwood discover the orphanage in which they were raised is destined to be forecloseed, the pair set out on "a mission from God" to raise the $5000 needed to pay the orphanage's property tax bill. Deciding that the best way to do it is to reunite their old R&B band, the brothers encounter a homicidal "mystery woman" (Carrie Fisher), Neo-Nazis, and a country and western band - all while being relentlessly pursued by the police.

Cab's Magical transformation to "Back in the Day" and Aretha wearing her slippers in the diner, and John's cartwheel I could go on longer than the movie's run time! This was back when Horriblewood actually produced GOOD movies that EVERYONE wanted to watch. This is one of the greatest Musicals of ALL TIME! Thank you, Producers, Writers, Stars AND Crew, especially the shot of the crew at the end was genuine CLASS! As a matter of fact, I'm going to rewatch the movie right dang now!!! Haw, Haw, Haw, Haw! Sometime in the early 80's, my dad hired Cab Calloway, Chuck Berry, The Beach Boys (sans Brian Wison) and others I can't recall for a retro music festival at the Clark County fairgrounds in Vancouver, WA. I think it was 1980 and I was 10 years old. He borrowed a lot of money from friends and family to pull it off, and after he started selling tickets, the county came in and told him he had to fence off the area, greatly limiting audience space and the amount of tickets he could sell. The show did go on, but he ended up losing a ton of money, screwing over friends and family, and fleeing them and the IRS. He hid out in Hot Springs, AR for more than 20 years. He did end up contacting the IRS and getting a great deal and no charges. He's back in Washington today. Rod Williams is his name.

still my favorite movie ever. They never make movies like this anymore..cause they can't...they don't have actors with natural charisma and character like these guys have. Man, I miss that time!
