This is a video of the 2009-2010 McNeil High School Saxophone Quartet performing Sax Lix by Arthur Frackenpohl the day before the Regional UIL Solo & Ensemble Competition. We received a 1st Division, advancing to the Texas State Solo & Ensemble Competition where we played Andante et Scherzo by Eugene Bozza, also reviving a strong 1st Division from Dr. Timothy Rhea, Director of Bands at Texas A&M University.

I may be doing this quartet thing about my schools band is I'm the only male woodwind in the entire band (we come from a small school)
Me and my quartet (A1,A2,T,B) played "Just For Show" last year and this year we played "Polywogs Laketalk." We arnt sure what to play next year but the lead alto wants to play "Just For Show." Anyone have any suggestions on what to play? Grade one and an A,A,T,B piece

jason noyola I've played both Pollywogs lake talk and Sax lix. Going to state in both , but only receiving a 1st division on sax lix. There is another ensemble I heard played at my school which was rather difficult. Also really cool.
