I just ordered four packages that’s eight to go with my eight Sawyer squeezes to give out for bingo prizes. I hope they like them.
Great idea, I saw on another video someone put the Smart water bottle sports cap on to their filter. I actually like the Smart sports cap better than the one on my filter as well. I also made a male cap to screw onto the input side of the filter. It helps keep contaminated water and debris from getting out and getting other items dirty and also holds in and protects the strainer. I cut the top threaded portion of a water bottle off and crazy glued it to the bottle cap to make a 28 mm male cap. Thanks for your video.

wouldn't another solution be to simply put a cut thin piece of cloth under the rubber filter that came with the sawyer?
Question. I have never bought a Squeeze on Amazon before, always in person at REI, but I just received a Sqeeze as a gift, it came from Amazon in a BOX!! At REI they are sold in a sealed plastic package. The whole box issue is making me paranoid. Am I being a nut??!!

Hey Jim, I'm not sure if it matters how it is packaged, I'm always just hoping for the best. I guess if you don't trust it, don't use it. If it helps, I have used the filters from the box and I am still alive :) Good Luck

Make sure you tell people to Never Prime or Back wash the filter using dirty untreated water, as I've seen many people on video use dirty water and it's stupid. These people have no mentality on contamination.
