Sawyer Fredericks performs Why So Blue on July 21, 2018 in North Chatham, NY at the Columbia-Greene County Humane Society Paws Picnic Fundraiser. This was Sawyer's second year participating in this Fundraising event to Benefit the Columbia-Greene County Humane Society Animal Shelter and Services. The event was hosted by Waldorf Farms. Sawyer was joined by his band; Art Fredericks, Bass Guitar, Chris Thomas, Drums and Jerome Goosman. Sawyer began the concert with the band and after a few songs the band left the stage for Sawyer to perform a solo set. During his solo set Sawyer considers playing songs requested by the crowd, someone called out for Sawyer to sing something from his Busking days on the streets of Saratoga Springs, NY. After a few moments of contemplation, Sawyer began singing Why So Blue, a song he said he had not performed in about 4 years.

I love💖Sawyer Frederick's songs, & the way he sings... He's one of the most talented young men throughout the entire music industry... I am glad that he has stayed true to his way of singing, & by his not complying to the way that the music industries had wanted him to be.... What beautiful old soul he is & he is from another era, should've been around since the 1960's/1970's..... Keep on being you Sawyer....

Would anyone else besides myself NOT be surprised to see some antique photo from the 1800's of some guy who looks *just* like Sawyer, holding a guitar, long hair and a hat, singing somewhere? It would explain SO much...and actually make me feel a lot more comfortable with mortality, come to think of it. o.O

Not My Girl and Four Pockets are two of my most favorite songs he did when he was younger.

Omg. I've had this song in my head..I saw Sawyer last night at the Funky Bisquit and was about to scream this one out but there are so many great ones!! How do you pick? He didn't play Angel Skin, I lost my voice screaming that one out. :)
